🌕 STRAWBERRY FULL MOON CIRCLE 🍓✨

The Strawberry Moon glows low and golden — a gentle reminder to pause, savour what you’ve grown, and celebrate the abundance right here at hand. This year it falls in nurturing Cancer, bringing soft emotional energy, deep connection and a beautiful chance to release what no longer fits, before summer unfolds further.

My friend is holding space for this grief ritual workshop here in Leeds. Please contact Kaz below if your struggling with grief.

The Grief ritual tending workshop in Leeds, UK on June 27 is still open for registration. Contact Kaz Marshall at 07711080223 to register.

This Grief Ritual Tending workshop is for:

🌀People who are living with grief and want to learn ways to metabolize heavier emotions and support themselves

🌀People who have family or friends living with grief who want to learn accessible ways to engage, acknowledge, and support them

🌀Professionals who work in grief or palliative care who want to include accessible, non-religious, inclusive rituals for their clients

🌀People living with grief due to ambiguous loss (separation, custody loss, familial or religious alienation/exile, loss of home, loss of land/ immigration, loss of function due to illness or injury, etc), or family/friends/professionals supporting people though such losses

Workshop Outcomes:

🌀improved grief literacy overall: understand the presence and the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual impacts common to grief; develop healthy ways to relate and communicate about grief; understand the differences between bereavement and disenfranchised grief

🌀learn why/how grief rituals are effective: a brief overview of the research for how rituals support grieving and improve the grieving process for people following loss; the difference between grief rituals and wakes/funerals; learn to incorporate and support non-verbal, expressive ways of processing grief

🌀 learn how to design an inclusive grief ritual : how to organize a participatory grief ritual for yourself and/or people you know; what to include/acknowledge; what to avoid; post-ritual integration

🌀remember and recover community connection skills - these practices help us to reflexively develop ways to connect with each other in the balance of vulnerability and resilience because being human means we all lose who and what we care for the most; this helps us to redistribute the burdens of loss and prevent burnout, isolation, and overwhelm.

Opening Screening & Guidance

Primal Resonance soundscape, we will be working with powerful, high‑vibrational instruments — including the didgeridoo, the gong, singing bowls, the shamanic drum, and the flute. These are ancient tools that carry deep frequency, strong energy, and profound healing power; their sounds are designed to move through every layer of your being, shift energy, awaken memory, and resonate deep within body, heart and spirit.

Because these vibrations are strong and far‑reaching, please be aware and mindful:

If you are living with any health conditions, or if you have any history of epilepsy, seizures, heart conditions, pacemakers, severe hearing sensitivity, or any nervous system conditions, or if you are pregnant, please take care of yourself first and foremost. These frequencies and deep, rhythmic sounds can have a strong effect on your system, and it is important that you only engage in a way that feels safe, comfortable and right for your body and your wellbeing.

Trust your body, trust your wisdom, and honour what is true for you. We hold this circle with love, safety and awareness for everyone here.

An elderflower and lemon balm (Baltimore) tea with honey is a fantastic, soothing combination. It is highly valued in herbal traditions for supporting your immune system, soothing sinus tightness, and helping you relax.

The Benefits

Elderflower: Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, it is traditionally used at the very first sign of a cold or to soothe a stuffy nose. It can also slightly warm the body and encourage sweating, which makes it great for cold and flu recovery.

Lemon Balm: This herb is the perfect complement to elderflower, as it acts on the nervous system to ease stress, calm anxious thoughts, and promote a good night's sleep.

Honey: Adds a comforting, natural sweetness while providing its own soothing benefits for a scratchy throat.

How to Brew

Prepare the Flowers: Carefully remove the tiny white elderflowers from the green stems and leaves. (The green parts can be bitter and may cause an upset stomach.)

Combine: Add a small handful of fresh elderflowers and a few torn leaves of lemon balm to a mug or tea infuser.

Steep: Pour in just-boiled water, cover the mug (to trap those fragrant, beneficial oils), and let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes.

Strain & Sweeten: Strain out the flowers and leaves, then stir in a teaspoon of honey to taste.

Note: Herbal remedies are generally safe, but if you have underlying health conditions (like diabetes or low blood pressure) or are on regular medications, it’s always a good idea to check with a healthcare professional before drinking herbal teas frequently.
