💙 A Quick Note About My Cancellation Policy 💙

I hate having to have a cancellation policy and even more so having to enforce it. I completely understand that life happens and sometimes things can't be helped.

However, when an appointment is missed or cancelled at short notice, it can mean that someone else who is in pain or waiting for foot care misses out on that appointment time.

Thank you for your understanding and support. It helps me continue providing clinical foot care in the comfort of your own home. 💙

💙 A Reminder to Check Elderly Loved Ones’ Feet 💙

This lovely lady, who lives with dementia, had been hiding her feet from family members. A member of a care team I work closely with was eventually able to carry out a check her feet and contacted me for treatment.

👣 Regular foot checks can prevent pain, infection, mobility issues, and falls. They can also be life-saving for people living with diabetes and other health conditions where foot problems can have serious consequences if left untreated.

Sometimes a simple foot check can make a huge difference to someone’s comfort, wellbeing, dignity, and overall health.

🚨 Availability Update 🚨

June is now virtually fully booked, and July availability is becoming limited due to existing bookings and training commitments.

To help accommodate clients who need an appointment at very short notice, I have reserved a small number of slots within my diary. These appointments are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

👣 Toenail reconstruction appointments are currently in very high demand. As these treatments require longer appointment times than routine foot care visits, availability is extremely limited. To avoid disappointment, I recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance where possible.

Don’t ignore the signs 👣
Fungal nail and athlete’s foot are common, contagious, and treatable. Early treatment can help stop the spread and keep your feet healthy. If you notice itching, peeling skin, or thick/discoloured nails, speak to your FHP.
