Pretty good shift with NWAS on behalf of Sentinel Ambulance, I got to actually use my skills and treat so genuinely poorly people. It's been awhile but it was great. I did a couple of complicated extractions, full sets of OBS and some 12 lead ECGs. Handing over to staff at ED was a new one and I also took my turn at driving.
We were 2 hours off late and with the drive, it ended up being a 16 hour day 😳 next shift in 2 weeks time, bring it on 🚑🐦‍🔥

Great Friday. I Started with a bike ride to my favourite place for my weekly volunteering shift at RSPB Fairburn Ings and St Aidan's . Then spent the evening at the Rise fest in Barnsley with Vie Medic Services Ltd, giving medical cover and teaching CPR.
