The 1st appointment takes around 1 - 1 and a quarter hours for the 1st appointment as I do a full consultation on this appointment, deciding the colour, shape & a few other things. PATCH TEST
A patch test MUST be done at least 48 hours before an appointment. This is to make sure that you don't have a reaction to th
e dye and spoil your new brows. (It will only take a few minutes to do plus I can go through what you need to try to avoid either side of your appointment to achieve the best results). You can call on a Tuesday or Wednesday anytime between 11am and 6pm for the patch test doing. Just message me on the day so I know to expect you. (If I don't answer you don't worry I may be doing someone's brows and don't like to break off to answer my phone)
THE HD BROWS PROCEDURE
Every HD Brows treatment is exclusive, as your therapist I will assess the shape of your face and colouring before creating a bespoke brow, tailored exclusively for you. Even if you have sparse areas, i will work with you on a re-growth programme to achieve the perfect brows for you based on a combination of seven unique procedures. HD Brow’s winning 7 step process can transform even the most over plucked brows to enhance your natural facial features:
Step 1 - Consultation
Assessing your face shape, colouring and natural brows to determine the best result for you. Some clients can achieve the perfect HD Brow shape on the first visit, whilst others may need a few treatments and be advised to grow in more eyebrow hairs to get the best results (this is called a regrow program). HD Brows can be thick or thin, dark or light, angular or soft. Whatever the current state of your brows, I will advise you on the process that is best for you. Step 2 - Tinting
I will tint all your brows, including the stray ones around the brow, so we have the maximum to work with and get the best shape for you. This tint is a special, high pigment tint to give longer lasting results than traditional tints. I mix the tint according to your present colouring and desired result. Step 3 - Waxing
I will wax above and below the brows to achieve the famous HD shape, ensuring a tailored finish to suit your face shape. Step 4 - Threading
Threading the 'fluffy' hairs surrounding the brows to blend in to the hairline. Step 5 - Tweezing
Tweezing your brows to perfectly fine tune their shape. Step 6 - Trimming
Trimming any long hairs so that all of your brow hairs lie perfectly in their newly defined shape. Step 7 - Aftercare
Some clients will need a small amount of eyebrow pencil or powder to fill in any gaps whilst we encourage regrowth of any previously over plucked areas. Brow Beater is then applied to set and condition your new brows into place. (They don't look like slugs lol)
To get the best results from your HD Brows treatment, if your hairs are thin & sparse it’s best to let your eyebrows grow in for around 2 - 4 weeks prior to your first treatment so that I have more to work with. If your eyebrows are naturally thin and difficult to regrow i can still work on giving you a highly defined look for your brows but please be aware that I don’t ‘transplant’ hairs or tattoo them on. To maintain your gorgeous new HD brows you’ll need to repeat the HD Brows treatment after 4-6 weeks once your hairs have regrown and your colour has faded. # # IMPORTANT # #
Please don’t exfoliate the skin around your eyebrows for at least a 3 days before and after treatment as it can make your skin more sensitive. Try to avoid using sun beds or saunas for 48 hours either side. If you wish to use fake tan on your face, apply a barrier to the hair and a small area around the brow prior to tinting to avoid discolouration of your tint. If you have taken Roacutaine or any other skin thinning medication, you must wait at least 6 months before having waxing on the eyebrows as the skin will be thinner and it can cause tearing. Unfortunately with being a small business I rely on all my appointments being filled If you need to change or cancel your appointment AT LEAST 48 BEFORE the appointment is required so that I can advertise and offer your appointment to someone else. If I manage to fill the appointment, no payment is required. If I don’t manage to fill the appointment unfortunately full payment for the missed appointment will be required. If you are a no show/canceationm on the day, a £15 deposit will also be needed to book your next appointment. (This will be deducted from your payment on the day if you show for that appointment) Unfortunately if you don't show on the day you will loose your deposit and have to pay the full amount �
