❤️ A game of dominoes
It might seem like a simple game, but moments like this can be so meaningful. Games such as dominoes can encourage concentration, recognition, decision-making and memory, while also providing a wonderful opportunity for conversation, laughter and connection.
For me, caring for someone living with dementia is about much more than completing daily tasks. It’s about getting to know the person behind the diagnosis, understanding what they enjoy, and finding ways to keep them engaged and involved. ❤️
We had fun! Sometimes it’s the simplest activities that create the happiest moments. 🥰
This is why I believe meaningful activities should be part of dementia care — because every person deserves to feel valued, included and connected. 💜
