🦇🖤Hey y’all — ahead of my diary opening tomorrow!
I’ve made this post with ALL the info you need to make an enquiry or booking with me, so if you are planning on contacting me please swipe through and take a minute to read it first.
Once you’ve read it, just to confirm, if you want to book or enquire, please head to my website form. That’s the only way I will accept bookings from now on.
I can’t reply to DMs, direct emails, or comments about bookings. I genuinely might not see them and it’s so much easier and quicker for me to manage.
So: no form = no reply. It sounds strict, but it means I actually get back to everyone with less stress and can spend more time tattooing!
(A note to anyone who has emailed over the past few months: if you’ve still not had a reply I am getting to you and you don’t need to do the form on this occasion)

🦇 ANNOUNCEMENT 🦇PLEASE READ (soz it’s long)!

My apologies I’ve not updated as quickly as I’d hoped - a few unexpected hurdles cropped up but finally, after what feels like forever of navigating the challenging and unexpected, I am officially back 🦇 I’m also excited, incredibly proud and happy to announce that I have been busy working away on my very own little tattoo studio and it’s now ready to open 🖤

Athamé (pronounced ah-thah-may) is a private tattoo studio located in the heart of Leicester city centre. All bookings are by appointment only, meaning no distractions from outside noise and a comfortable, cosy and private space for my clients and me. There is/will be some more information on my website (some tweaks still ongoing behind the scenes)!

My diary will be opening on Monday 1st June from 9am to start accepting enquiries and bookings. I will do a post about how to book in/send an enquiry etc but figured this post was long enough already 💀

To everyone who had been postponed/waiting - you may have already received an email to reschedule your appointment before my diary goes live. If you have contacted me over the past few months and not had a reply yet I will reply very soon to advise further - and thank you for getting in touch.

A LOT of hard work has gone in to setting my little studio up and I could not have done it all on my own. I would love to thank the following people in particular for SO much help, support and generosity in so many ways , Matthew, , Mark & Johann 🖤

Finally, I CAN NOT thank everyone enough for their continued patience, support, understanding and kind words whilst I have being getting my s**t together 🖤
Every now and then, life throws a series of unexpected hurdles that feel entirely relentless. It knocks you flat, and the challenges keep coming before you can even stand back up.
But momentum always shifts.

My diary to take tattoo appointments has been closed for a while and was due to reopen soon. Unfortunately, due to some personal reasons, beyond my control, I don’t know when exactly I will be able to reopen. I do not currently have a reopen date scheduled. I don’t have any appointments available until early October anyway.

Unfortunately, this will impact on some upcoming appointments and I will need to cancel and reschedule so I’ll be in touch today via email to those it will affect.

If you are booked in over the next few weeks/months and you do not hear from me please assume everything is booked as arranged as I will be unlikely to be able to respond to general enquiries at this time.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused and just ask for your patience until it does reopen.

Hi everyone!! Exciting news!! We, Black Market Tattoos , as a collective are moving studio!! We will be up and running in our new premises from week commencing 21st July! We aren’t very far from our current premises so this won’t affect any travel times or plans to our customers.
If you have an appointment with me during July please check your emails this week but DO NOT WORRY, there is no need to contact me I will be in touch with everyone ASAP with the new address and any other relevant details. There shouldn’t be any issues with any booked appointments either, everything is booked as previously arranged unless I notify you directly.
This is a very exciting new venture! Please bear with me regarding usual day to day enquiries etc as we get ourselves set up in the new premises. The move will unfortunately delay my diary opening a bit but once we are all settled in normal service will resume! I will post again very soon with some more information on this once I know exactly what my plan is. Thank you for reading and I really look forward to seeing you all soon in our new home 🖤
