There are just so many things to take into consideration:
- the process of making it
- the shape and texture of it
- how well it washes your hair
- how it leaves a soft texture on your hair
- how it looks after your scalp
- the other benefits we aim to achieve
- the cost and availability of the ingredients (especially for products for Madagascar where some key ingredients are not available locally)
- the perfume
These are just three samples among many we made and tested.
Even if we are small, we aim for top quality and we aim to disrupt the market! And we hope you will like what we have formulated for you.

Retour aux sources. Après des mois et des mois de recherche d’identité, de R&D, de questionnements, voilà enfin: je suis décidée à relancer la machine!
Ma vision: Une gamme innovante qui se différencie de celles disponibles sur le marché, et qui met en valeur les richesses locales!
Alors je commence avec Madagascar, et je vous présente le premier Shampoing Solide 2-en-1 au Riz Rouge de Madagascar!

Un petit marbré pour le goutté? 🤣 bon ok il n’est pas super joli mais c’est un bon début non?
Le marbrage: une technique que je maitrise encore très mal, car il n’y a pas que le geste malheureusement, il y a aussi la texture de la pâte à savon qui ne doit être ni trop fine, ni trop épaisse, et bien lisse.
Cette recette, je vous en parlais, elle donne un savon d’une extrème douceur mais la pâte est hélas difficile à travailler… définitivement pas une pour faire des marbrages.
Voilà la joie de la formulation ❤️

Two soaps made with the same oil but at different proportion. ❤️
A montha ago, I made a soap (in Madagascar) and it “accelerated” - which means it reached trace in seconds and became very hard to manage - and it is the first time this has happened to me. The soap didn’t look great (which is why i didn’t share a picture of it with you). However, when we then cut it and tested it, it was the softest soap I have ever made! It was just …. chockingly amazing!
So back here in the UK, I felt like I needed to do this recipe again, even if the soap doesn’t look pretty, it is not the most important after all, right?
So I first decided to try and change the recipe a little bit, to see if I could get a more managable batter with the same quality of soap (which is the yellow soap). And then I made the same soap I made in Madagascar so I could compare them both.
Surprisingly, this time the second soap didn’t accelerate (maybe because of different room / temperature condition). Nethervless it was not the easiest batter to deal with.
Anyway!! :) I am now waiting for those two to dry properly. I will then cut them and let them cure for 2 weeks. I will let you know if the result is as good as I hope it is. Because if it is, i can’t keep this soap just for myself!!! It is seriously the softest soap I ever used!

Looking after your home without hurting the Earth is easy as 1,2,3. Check this little tip to clean your dishwasher. I’ve started diing this when I noticed that my dishes were not very clean after a wash cicle. It works wonder.

As you know, we are always strive for improvements in our small workshop. We focus a lot on packaging to try to make sure we're moving towards plastic-free wherever we can. Coconut oil was one of our difficult products because it is a solid oil but tends to melt very easily. Basically impossible to pack in a simple pouch. When we didn't have an alternative yet, we had to pack a kilo of coconut oil in a plastic tub. But that was BEFORE. We can now deliver coconut oil in a nice glass jar (which you can also reuse later). In addition, we were able to reduce the price of our coconut oil ingredient. Basically: better packaging and cheaper than before! :) We hope you like it as much as we do :)

Hi everyone, as most of you know, our workshop has been closed during the month of August.
1/ All the orders made (wholesale and website orders) will be managed from the 24th of August. We will contact you shortly to let you know when it will be delivered but please be insured we will send all orders by the 29th of August. Please message us if you need anything urgently.
2/ While the workshop was closed, we've been working hard during those weeks. Among other things, we have worked on finalising the formulation of new products. We hope to release some of those products in September. Keep your eyes peeled!
3/ The other "improvements" we are working on is to source more local ingredients. What does this mean exactly? For those of you in France, I'm currently working hard to identify/source french ingredients/suppliers/producers. For those of you in the UK, we will also do the same. I'm looking forward to be able to visit UK producers of Essential oils, oils,.. and see how we can incorporate the benefits of those ingredients in our range. For those of you in Madagascar, once we are allowed to travel in Madagascar again, we will also go on the field and source as many local ingredients as possible to offer you a range that is made with local raw materiels as much as we can. More details regarding our plans in Madagascar will be shared on the dedicated Madagascan group!
4/ Last but not least: we hope to be in more shops in the UK, in France, other EU countries but also in Madagascar. We are working hard on this.

Hello everyone. The very first zero waste swap we should all do is using soap. Soap (liquid or solid) is something we use daily, and even more importantly nowadays. A new gallery of cold processed soaps is now available in our eshop. We have selected a first range of soaps that is suitable for body and face and is just awesome (they smell amazing and the ingredients used are tip top).

If you went to business school, one of the key strategies they teach you is to FOCUS. That is one thing I constantly try, but that I often fail because I have so many things I want to share with you. I focused on one thing which is my value. The desire to help you move to a zero waste path. A more natural life. Some more ecofriendly alternatives. All that without compromise. I wanted to create a venture that has a sence. I wished it. I dreamed it. I do it. :)
