Leicester City in the Community is hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Event at the African Caribbean Centre

The day will feature:
Energising Soca fitness session.

Expert talk and Q&A
with Dr Olubukola, University Hospitals of Leicester Medical Oncologist and
Breast Cancer Lead,

Lived experience stories,

Complimentary buffet lunch.

Our clinic at Belgrave Health Centre will be recommencing on Tuesday 15th September.

It is a walk-in clinic and runs on Tuesdays from 1:30pm - 4pm.

Free and confidential services available include:
➡️ Contraception (No coil fittings. Coil checks and removals only.)
➡️ C-Card and condoms
➡️ STI testing and treatment
➡️ PrEP for HIV prevention
➡️ Information and advice

Are you on the implant and experiencing problem bleeding?

Would you like to help us find the best treatment for bleeding on the implant?

The DEBI trial is looking to see whether the progesterone only pill is as good as the combined pill at resolving problem bleeding for those on the implant.

If you are aged 16-45 and experiencing problem bleeding on the implant you may be able to take part.

How long do different long acting reversible contraception options last?

➡️ Implant - Up to 5 years
➡️ IUS (Hormone Coil) - Up to 8 years, depending on type fitted
➡️ IUD (Copper Coil) - Up to 10 years
➡️ Injection - 14 weeks
