Georgi Ilchev is sharing with us some of his wisdom about how the very act of the Bowen move gives you an assessment of the body and gives you real time feedback about the nature of what is going on with the body and how you can adapt your move depending on the tone of the tissue, as to whether it is hypertonic or hypotonic and how you adjust your move on that basis.

Hi everybody, welcome back to the next of our interviews with prominent voices in the Bowen Technique world.

Today we are speaking to Marin Buljan from Croatia, PhD candidate in the Alma Mater Europa University, physiotherapist, Bowen practitioner, teaching assistant in the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Head Physiotherapist at the Medical Centre Mursa.

We are going to be talking about his upcoming presentation of his in-progress research for his PhD on using Medical Infrared Thermography to look at the effects of Bowen Technique on myofascial pain of cervical and periscapula regions of the body.

This is such an exciting breakthrough in research on Bowen and a really exciting conversation about how in real time, not only can you see changes in the localised tissues of the body through medical thermal imaging, but how distal and peripheral changes are also being recorded.

Graham Pennington, after his visits to London and Ireland, is just about to head off to Zagreb in Croatia for the Celebrating Bowen conference with many a great Bowen practitioner.

Here, he talks about the value of the "Window of Symmetry" as the place where the client's body has moved from the state of protection to the state of correction, and that in that time, just leave the body to reorganise itself in whatever way it sees best.

Welcome to the next of our interviews with prominent voices in the Bowen world.

Today, we have an absolutely amazing interview with Georgi Ilchev from Bulgaria, who is not only the president of the Bowen Therapy Association of Bulgaria and a BowTech teacher since 2014 and a Physiotherapist, but he has also worked to get Bowen recognised by the Bulgarian Government to make it a government-registered profession.

We are going to talk to Georgi about his presentation at the Zagreb Celebrating Bowen Conference later this May on using kinesiology to help with lumbar disc herniations and how the spine is a victim of dysfunction in other parts of the body.

A really interesting conversation with a great and passionate teacher and advocate of the Bowen Technique.
