Photo shoot prep update

End of week 12 just over a week left until the shoot

Sitting at the lowest weight I've been in years but still not happy with my progress wanted a better result

How ever this is just part of the journey and I'm not done going to push until my holiday so 3 weeks left then go away rest reset and go again until I'm at the point I'm happy with my look

I'm not one to settle so I can't just let it be and not achieve the result I'm after

I'm looking forward to seeing what my clients are like on the day they have all put the work in

The part that people don't see when you're on a photo shoot prep

When you're in photo shoot prep people looking from the outside thinking well they've done that really quick and really

But the part that people don't see is not going out not socialising

Given up family time for a short period or date night with the partners

Giving up foods they really really enjoy for a short period

The early mornings getting in cardio the monotonous cardio doing the same thing staying day out just to get a result

The grind when it starts to get hard and you're tired and everything aches and you're just dragging yourself into the gym to get the result you need

There is so many parts to a photo shoot people don't know and don't understand. I don't see.

Are they difficult? Yes, are they worth it? 110%?

I can't think of any other better way to show off your results and your hard work

I thoroughly enjoy taking clients through the process yes it's challenging. Yes it's hard work but that result at the end is more than worth it.

Sacked weight don't mean anything

Yes it's a metric we use but there can be so much more involved

You weight can we the exact same but your composition can change meaning you have more muscle less fat or more fat less muscle

You need to look at things from a whole point of view measurements photos

How close fit and so on

It's easy said than done, but try not to get hung up on the scare weight. It doesn't always reflect the true story.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result

How many times have you been doing the same thing for months but expecting a different result?

Let's face it if you haven't achieved the results you wanted in the first month or started to see any improvement

You're not going to

The chances are you need to change something

The plans clearly not working

If you're looking in the mirror and you've seen no physical changes you close feel the same if not tighter your scale weight hasn't moved your measurements haven't moved

Be starting in the month of exactly the same as you did the month previous

Still feeling like s**t, still feeling like you've not progressing

Then change something there's something in your program not working

With my clients, we don't leave things for longer than two weeks if something hasn't changed, we will make a change

Because we don't want to be stacked, we don't want to feel like we're not progressing

If you're not moving forward, your standing still that's where we work

We don't want to be standing still we want to be progressing forward achieving results

Out of pace that we can handle and sustainable

If you wanna feel like you're making a progress and you're not standing, still looking in the mirror a month down the line feeling like you've got nowhere

End of week 11

It's crazy to think we have just over two weeks left

A better suite week through this week with being the lowest weight I've been in over five years

Yeah, I still don't like what I see in the mirror still don't like the progress I've made

Still see the fat person in front of me

Mental fatigue body dysmorphia is probably the most rampant. It has been this week.

Body just hurts feels like I'm dragging me along so we've been given two days off of cardio

To see whether this helps the body just relax a little bit

I'm hoping over the next two weeks I'll start to get a little bit more of the definition I'm looking for

If I'm honest with myself, I don't think I will

He's always a big ass when you take on the journey like this and it isn't a finished journey by imagination

I just wish I could've been further along for this photo shoot

Especially as the clients are doing the shoot are looking absolutely phenomenal

Two and half weeks out from the shoot and here are the things we don't see

The content fatigue and tiredness as we keep pushing and having low food

So you have to start structuring your day to get things done early in the morning when you're more awake

Motivation become becomes a thing of the past and it is literally 100% discipline that takes over to get things done

Doing the cardio isn't difficult is the discipline getting onto the cardio to do the same boring thing that you've done for the last 12 weeks

If you're expecting motivation to get you through, you'll be highly disappointed because by this point it is to share willpower of what you want to achieve and your discipline

Constantly thinking you're not in shape and not going to see a great photo

Body dysmorphia kicks your arse at this point

One minute you're on a high the next minute you're thinking what the f**k am I doing this for?

One minute you wanna do to shoot the next minute you're ready to quit

These are all the emotions you go through within the space of like 20 minutes a day if not more

Your mind, please tricks on you. You look in the mirror. I think. Damn I look good. You look again and think who the f**k is that fat bastard in front of me?

He's all the emotions you'll go through

But we keep working because the end result will way outweigh the negativity we have been through

It's the last few weeks that really grinds on you and they're the weeks you have to push through

And by the time the shoot comes, everyone will be on a high and forget all about them weeks

What are your bio Health markers saying about you?

When it comes to our health, we don't tend to take as much notice as we probably should

It's like anything else we don't address the issue until one arises rather than keeping on top of it and stopped an issue coming

Should be checking our blood pressure as this is a silent killer one and three people have high blood pressure and half of those cases of strokes and heart attacks come from high blood pressure

We should be checking our blood and have a blood bloodwork done every six months maybe more if you're a PED user

Checking what our blood levels are like
White blood count red blood count volumes and so

You should be checking on HDL and LDL as cholesterol does have a part to play within the body but it also can damage the body in the wrong quantities

Will should be checking our renal functions, liver and kidneys making sure they're functioning correctly because these are vital parts of our body as well that we can't really live without if they get too damaged

I try to get my clients to do a blood test as often as they can. It does help with the health and looking at other things.

But it can get pricey for people and I understand that, but I definitely recommend people to do with a lease once a year

Rushed into work with me at four months ago

Surf quite badly scoliosis was in pain quite a lot of this time for his back

As a plastic surgeon is quite a string on his back when he's operating though he just tried to hold his posture quite well

He designed the program that wasn't going to load the spine

Love seeing this this is great

With so much crap around social media and fitness these days I'm seeing crappy training techniques so crappy ideas around training

It's inherently great to see someone that's just taking a wholesome approach to training

This hour with his coach might be this Kids's best hour of the week where he enjoyed what he's doing and it's great to see how much she's enjoying and encouraging the young lad

I definitely think we need more of this around the fitness industry rather than seen people pull others down or come up with new ways to training. That's absolutely just a waste of time.
