Clinging on to summer for dear life… ☀️

The sun’s back out today, and this door is bringing plenty of its own.

Our striking Fortis Aluminium 🇬🇧 F800 design door, d
finished externally in RAL 1023 matt, Traffic Yellow, with a RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey frame and hardware.

This bespoke aluminium door brings a proper pop of colour. The sleek recessed handle keeps the exterior clean, letting that bold yellow do the talking.

Inside, the colour pairing flips to anthracite grey with yellow hardware. Our SG1 design detailing adds fine vertical lines to the internal face, complete with a tedee 3-in-1 access control system.

Even with the scaffolding still up, it’s already stealing the show. We can’t wait to see this project finished.

FIVE DOORS | ONE VISION | BUILT FOR THE WELSH COAST.

Perched on the side of a bay in Wales, this remarkable home called for five bespoke aluminium doors, designed as one complete collection.

The F918, F919 and F920 styles from our Residence range were used across the property. Each opening has its own panel arrangement, but the shared detailing creates a consistent colonial character from every elevation.

All five doors are finished in the specialist RAL Design 220 80 05, a beautifully subtle grey-blue, paired with Coastal Group brass hardware.

The main entrance takes the detailing even further with Oriel Canterbury Opal feature glass, bringing pattern, privacy and softly filtered light into the home.

But this specification goes far beyond appearance.

With the property exposed to salt-laden coastal air, every door was manufactured using anodised aluminium profiles and given the added protection of a ceramic coating.

A carefully considered specification designed to preserve the finish and performance in one of the most demanding environments.

Hidden House.
Exceptional architecture, meticulous detail and an entrance to match.

Set within woodland, this remarkable home brings together natural stone, warm timber and expansive glass. The attention to detail extends across every elevation, with materials and proportions that make the most of its beautiful surroundings.

Our bespoke Fortis Aluminium 🇬🇧 entrance spans 5.4 metres wide × 3.3 metres high, creating a dramatic centrepiece within the architecture.

Finished in Black Grey, RAL 7021, the Apex F801 door combines precise horizontal detailing with a recessed vertical handle. Expansive sidelights reflect the surrounding trees and flood the entrance with natural light.

The entrance details, with sizes rounded:

• Overall entrance: 5400mm wide × 3300mm high
• Door section: 1400mm wide × 2400mm high
• Matching infill panel above: 900mm high
• Two sidelights: each 2000mm wide × 3300mm high

The sidelight glass was supplied by Ultraline and fitted into our one-piece aluminium frame, matching the glazing specification of their windows and sliding doors elsewhere in the home.

The infill panel accommodates the internal dropped ceiling, allowing the door to open freely while preserving the impressive exterior proportions.

The F801 design was chosen to match the horizontal lines of the two sectional doors we also installed, creating a coordinated finish in RAL 7021:

• Main garage: 5500mm wide × 2350mm high
• Plant room: 1900mm wide × 2350mm high

✨ A golden entrance in the making…

This impressive new build now features a bespoke Fortis F800 entrance door, finished in our exclusive Rockpooling finish.
Its textured surface creates a warm golden glow against the contrasting Anthracite frame, handle and windows, while tying in perfectly with the natural stone exterior.

The accompanying sidelight has been sandblasted for privacy, with two clear vertical lines adding a crisp architectural detail.

Complete with Navkom BioTouch access control, the door can be operated using:
• Fingerprint recognition
• PIN keypad
• Smartphone app

We’re looking forward to returning and seeing this incredible home fully completed.

This installation features our F916 Residence design, finished in RAL 9001 Matt (Cream) and complemented with Coastal Group. This includes marine-grade stainless steel furniture - a classic ring knocker, lever handle and letterplate.

Fit for a 4-time World Champion 🎱

A very proud installation day for the team, fitting a new bespoke Fortis front door for a local four-time World Champion snooker player and his wife.

Replacing the original entrance, this new F806 design has completely transformed the front of the home. Manufactured as an oversized 1250mm wide door with a matching sidelight, it creates a cleaner, more modern and more balanced entrance.

The recessed handle was finished in Starlight, giving a subtle contrast against the main door finish, RAL 7016 and adding a contemporary detail to the overall design.

As a Leicester-based manufacturer, this one felt particularly special. To have one of our doors chosen for their home means a great deal to us.

Two entrances. Two completely different statements.

Installed yesterday in Leicestershire, this project brings together timeless design and modern engineering - both delivered the Fortis way.

British-made, built in-house, and finished without compromise.

The front entrance is formed as design F915, from our Residence Collection, configured as a pair and finished in RAL 9005 black.
Defined by clean lines and confident proportions, the opening is complemented with solid brass hardware, introducing warmth against the deep black finish and giving the entrance a strong, composed presence.

To the side, a statement in its own right.
An oversized SG5 from our Signature Collection at 1400mm wide, finished in C34 bronze - including the threshold for a seamless, consistent finish.

The handle is CNC cut and manually folded in-house, ensuring the proportions are carefully controlled to sit perfectly within the design. Integrated warm white LED lighting adds a refined layer of detail as the light shifts throughout the day.
Paired with a grey tinted triple glazed sidelight, the overall opening feels considered, architectural and quietly impactful.

Access control has been intentionally kept separate using Navkom Biotouch - fingerprint, keypad and app control - positioned away from the door to maintain a clean, uninterrupted facade.

Both doors are built using our Apex system - a one-piece aluminium frame designed to deliver strength and stability, even at larger, wider sizes. Fully PAS24 tested for security and performance.

A front door that defines the whole elevation.

Fortis F801 design, with the clients house name "Langhus" CNC cut directly into the 3mm aluminium face.

Not applied, not added later - built into the design from the outset.

Finished externally in RAL 2004 Pure Orange, set within a RAL 9005 Jet Black frame, sitting against vertical timber cladding.

Internally, the door is kept black, with RAL 2004 accents carried through the hinges and handle to tie the two sides together.

A matching wall-mounted post box in RAL 2004, with CNC cut numbers, continues the same language across the elevation.

A simple opening, made distinctive through colour and detail.
