Brolay Care Farm At Brolay we use therapeutic farming & horticultural practices to support people with a diverse rang

Here at Brolay Care farm we are registered members of Care Farming UK and The Rare Breeds Survival Trust. We are a not-for-profit organisation which provides an environment for vulnerable people to spend time in, gain confidence and new skills and experience how farming works. We also work in the community delivering support to people with a diverse range of needs, improving the well being of peop

le with mental health problems and giving people with learning disabilities a sense of community inclusion. We employ highly experienced local health and social care staff whom are all CRB-checked, alongside farmers who produce and grow products to sell locally and at farmers markets. At Brolay Care Farm we offer an alternative to the traditional day services, by giving people meaningful, purposeful farming and horticultural activities to help improve their over all well being. We cater for both groups of children, young people or adults, as well as individuals. We can help you to:
- Reconnect with the land and animals, offering practical support.
- Help you to participate in therapeutic farming and horticultural activities.
- Provide you with a supervised and structured program of farming and horticultural related activities.
- Help you to achieve your personal goals by giving you meaningful fulfilling activities.
- Help you develop and maintain your independence and personal well being.
- Help to give you a greater community involvement by producing, growing and selling products to the local community and at farmers markets.
- Help you to develop financial management skills.
- Give you the chance to be involved in wildlife conservation and the management of land and waterways. In order to do this we offer a 2-tier system of support; 3:1 Standard and 1:1 Enhanced.
