Absolutely loving this warm weather!! ☀️ But with modern lifestyles, we’re already burning through minerals faster than ever: stress, poor sleep, caffeine, alcohol, under-fuelling, busy schedules… it all adds up. Then when you throw hot weather into the mix, mineral loss can increase even more through sweating and dehydration.

Losing too many minerals can have a huge impact on the body and nervous system, affecting energy, hydration, recovery, sleep, mood and overall resilience. Over time, this can place a bigger demand on the body’s reserves and often worsen symptoms when the system is already struggling to keep up.

This is one reason we love Ibiza Marine Plasma at Inna during the warmer months. Harvested from deep ocean plankton blooms off the coast of Ibiza, it contains naturally occurring minerals and trace elements in a form designed to closely match the body’s own mineral balance, which is why many people find it especially supportive for hydration, recovery and energy.

We’ve got bottles at our Leigh On Sea clinic if anybody wants to pop in and grab one 🤍

This is Demi 🤍

Demi is our in-house naturopath, working alongside us at Inna to support clients with a more personalised approach to food, testing, and day-to-day structure.

Her work beautifully complements the bioresonance and energy-based side of what we do, helping to ground everything into something practical and sustainable in everyday life.

Her background is rooted in real, hands-on experience. She’s recently spent time in Canada working on meal planning for special needs events, in a more remote, nature-based setting. It’s shaped how she works. Practical, adaptable, and always centred around the individual.

She has a particular interest in women’s health and hormones, supporting clients in a way that feels steady, realistic, and tailored to them.

Her approach isn’t about rigid plans or restriction. It’s about understanding what your body needs, how your system is functioning, and creating something that actually works in real life.

Demi is available for both in-clinic and online consults 🤍 contact us for more info or to book in with Demi.

❤️

When I first arrived at Inna Clinic. The stairs really scared me. But because I was so determined to see Jodie. I made it up with help and 2 crutches. I’ve been in terrible pain for years- Hips, knees, fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety. I really didn’t think that I could get better. At the age of 72. Disabled and on so many drugs. I even thought my life was ruined.

Some time later .. Well. As Jodie said. I’m going backwards in age. I’m off many of my medications, which made me feel awful. I’ve lost weight, got lots more energy, much less pain. confidence is much stronger now. I’m facing life challenges straight on. I can do so many things for myself. Life is good

Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Inna is all about building your energy.

Not just feeling more awake or getting through the day a bit easier, but building the actual currency your body runs on.

When we talk about energy, we mean the resource your body is using every second to keep everything working. It pays for your sleep, your hormones, your digestion, your mood, your recovery and your ability to handle stress.

Think of it like money. Your body is earning, storing and spending all day long.

When there is enough, things run smoothly, recovery happens.

When it is low, the body becomes more selective. It covers the essentials and delays everything else. That is often when symptoms start to show up.

At Inna, we focus on helping you build that currency back up so your body has enough to spend on functioning well again.

We look at what is draining your energy, what is limiting it and how to support the body in building it back through nourishment, rhythm, regulation and targeted therapies.

It is less about pushing harder, and more about giving the body what it needs to have something to spend again.

Motivation comes and goes. It depends on mood, sleep, stress, hormones, weather, and whether life feels easy that day. It can feel powerful in the moment, but it is rarely steady.

Discipline is different. Discipline is rhythm. It is the quiet decision to keep showing up, even when the feeling is not there.

It is eating breakfast before the crash. Going to bed a little earlier. Taking the walk when you cannot be bothered. Slowing your breathing when stress rises. Keeping the appointment. Repeating the small things that support you.

Your body responds to consistency. Hormones respond to consistency. The nervous system responds to consistency.

You do not need to feel inspired every day. You need rhythms your body can trust.

At Inna, we believe rhythm often restores what intensity never could.

Magnesium often gets overlooked, but it plays a key role in how vitamin D is activated and used in the body.

So while sunlight provides the signal… your mineral status helps determine how well that signal is actually received and carried through.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all when it comes to magnesium...

Glycinate is often used for calming and nervous system support.
Malate can feel a bit more energising.
Taurate is sometimes chosen for cardiovascular support etc...

The best form really depends on what your body needs and how you’re currently feeling.

If you’re not sure where to start, this is something we support clients with all the time.

We offer short supplement reviews to simplify things, or more in depth functional testing in clinic, so you’re not guessing.

Your little reminder… to Get outside.

The UK sun now has enough UVB (especially around midday) to support your vitamin D or what we often call your “hormone D”. Your skin makes it, and your eyes help signal the body how to use that light.

Light is one of the main signals your body uses to regulate itself.

It helps set your circadian rhythm.
It influences hormones, mood, and energy.
It tells your system what time of year it is… and how to respond.

And after a long winter indoors, this matters more than we think.

Fold up your sleeves, show a bit of leg… let some skin see the light.
Let your eyes take in natural daylight too (no need to stare at the sun!) that means taking the sunglasses off for a bit or the contacts out.

Just a few quiet minutes to reconnect. And it’s bloody lovely ☀️

We see this classic pattern a lot on our BBC energetic scans.

Cortisol flags, Hyperoestrogenism flags,
Vegetative nervous system dysbalance.
Imbalance involving the hypothalamus, thyroid and pituitary.

They come through as separate markers. But after years of reading these scans, you start to recognise it instantly.

It’s an stress-hormone dominant pattern. From a bioenergetic perspective... When cellular energy production drops, the body compensates.

It leans more heavily on stress hormones to keep you upright and functioning. Cortisol rises to stabilise blood sugar by releasing stored fuel - keeping you switched on and coping!
We’re so intelligent!

But stress hormones are not meant to be the baseline. They’re short-term support chemistry. If they become the dominant pattern, other systems adjust.

Thyroid output lowers to conserve fuel.
Progesterone drops because ovulation weakens. Estrogen becomes relatively dominant. The autonomic nervous system struggles to find rhythm.

This is what we mean when we say
“the body is in a stress pattern.”

It’s that energy production isn’t strong enough to maintain the standard, pro-metabolic state. So the system shifts into compensation.

So when we’re looking at your scan results - We’re asking:

Is this body running on stress chemistry
or energy chemistry?
Because the goal isn’t to suppress cortisol.
It’s to restore efficient energy production
so the body no longer needs to rely on it.
That’s the difference between reading results…And recognising a pattern.

So much of what we call illness starts when the cells aren’t making enough energy to keep up.

Every single cell in your body is designed to make energy. That’s its job. Through cellular respiration, your cells take glucose, oxygen, thyroid hormone, vitamins and minerals and turn them into usable fuel.

When that fuel production slows down, everything feels it. Your digestion, hormones, immune system, sleep etc

When energy dips, things don’t collapse overnight. They just get harder.

Stomach acid drops, so bacteria are more difficult to manage.
Digestive enzymes slow, so food isn’t broken down properly.
The liver becomes sluggish and detox feels heavy.
Thyroid conversion struggles.
CO2 production lowers, which makes oxygen delivery harder.
Minerals drift out of balance.
Blood sugar regulation becomes messy.
Sleep gets lighter and recovery feels incomplete.

And once you’re in that lower energy state, the body has to work harder just to keep up.

This is where bioresonance comes in 😬

It doesn’t override the body. It reduces the background noise.

It helps lessen the stress load your system is constantly adapting to.
Hidden immune stress.
Old viral signatures.
Environmental burden.
Emotional imprints that haven’t quite cleared.

When that load lightens, the body has more energy available for actual repair.

We also care deeply about the foundations. Glucose. Minerals. Thyroid. Oxygen. Rhythm. Light. Real food. But sometimes the system is so busy firefighting that it can’t even use the fuel you’re giving it.

That’s what we look for in clinic.

Where is energy being drained?
Where is stress being stored?
What can we gently clear so the body can breathe again?

The question isn’t just how do we boost energy.

It’s how do we balance what’s quietly stealing it?

If this resonates, message in and book your first session 💫
