☀️ Summer Solstice ☀️

The Summer Solstice is a celebration of light.

Yet so many of us have spent years learning how to make ourselves smaller.

Less visible.
Less expressive.
Less powerful.
Less ourselves.

Perhaps because somewhere along the way we were taught that our light was too much.

Too loud.
Too ambitious.
Too emotional.
Too spiritual.
Too different.

We hear these messages often enough that eventually we stop questioning them.

We dim our light.
We shrink ourselves.
We play small.

This Solstice, I invite you to pause and reflect…

✨ Who taught you that your light was too much?

✨ What has it cost you to believe that?

✨ And what might become possible if you stopped shrinking and remembered who you truly are?

Because the world doesn’t need a smaller version of you.

It needs the real you.

The radiant you.

The you that remembers who she is.

The Medicine Is In The Moment ✨

Sat on my bench the other evening, simply being, I found myself listening to the birds as dusk began to settle.

And it got me thinking about how beautifully connected everything is.

The birds aren’t just singing for the sake of it. Their evening chorus helps signal the transition from day to night. As they settle, countless other creatures, plants and ecosystems respond to these changing rhythms too. Nature moving together in an ancient dance that has been happening long before we arrived.

It’s a reminder that we are not separate from nature.
We are nature.

Perhaps that’s why birdsong feels so good for us. Studies show it can calm the nervous system, reduce stress and help us feel more connected and present. Because on some level, we recognise it. It speaks to something ancient within us.

As I sat there listening, I was reminded that Mother Earth is always communicating.

Not through words.

Through birdsong.
Through sunsets.
Through the wind in the trees.
Through the gentle rhythms that invite us to slow down and remember.

And that’s one of the greatest gifts of circle too that I love. Taking time to step out of the noise and back into connection. Connection with ourselves, each other, and the living world around us.

And the birds reminded me that the medicine isn’t always in the big breakthrough.

Sometimes, the medicine is simply in the moment. ✨

✨ Mantra ✨

At Soul Rev I got to sit in mantra with Antarma , and once again I was reminded of just how powerful mantra can be when shared in community.

The word mantra is often translated as “mind tool” — a sacred practice that helps steady, focus, and soothe the busy monkey mind.

For many years I carried stories that I couldn’t sing. Beliefs that my voice wasn’t good enough. Probably cemented by a school play where my solo somehow became a choir piece instead! 😂👀

Yet through mantra, something shifted for me.

There is a magical moment that sometimes arrives where I am no longer singing the mantra - the mantra is singing me.

The vibrations move through my whole being. The sacred sounds resonate through every cell, creating a sense of peace, love, connection, and joy.

I have laughed in mantra.
I have cried in mantra.
I have sat in complete surrender and devotion.

For me, mantra is not about performance or getting it right. It is about presence. It is about allowing sound to become prayer, medicine, and remembrance.

There is something profoundly beautiful about voices joining together in sacred song. Hearts opening. Defences softening. Souls remembering.

What a gift this practice is. 🙏✨

I’ve been reflecting on some of the beautiful moments from Soul Rev Festival .revolution.festival and one that keeps coming back to me is dropping into a gorgeous cacao ceremony with . 🤎✨

There is something so special about allowing yourself to be held… to soften, receive, and connect through the medicine of cacao, song, and community.

I first found cacao in my twenties and have now been working with this beautiful plant medicine deeply for six years, both personally and within circles and ceremonies.

Time and time again I witness the gentle yet powerful way cacao supports us to orientate from our hearts.
To move from the noise of the mind into loving awareness.
To connect more deeply with ourselves, with each other, and with what truly matters.

What made this experience even more special was the beautiful space Sari created. It felt nurturing, authentic and deeply heart-led. And her singing… wow. 🤩 Such a stunning voice, weaving magic through the ceremony and inviting everyone to soften, open and receive.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the greatest medicine is simply slowing down enough to listen, feel and remember.

Kundalini is said to be the yoga of awareness, and many of us are aware of “chakras” but we may not have spent the time connecting to and understanding, our own psychic energetic centres and how to clear and balance them. How to work with them and how they are linked to our emotions, behaviours and beliefs!

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient technology that works with your chakras and your nadis, and your full body system - working to clear stagnant energy, purify , cleanse and guide you your neutral mind and your origianl state of being.

We will begin next week 15th June in our Root chakra and explore the movement, the mantra, the breath, the mudra and the self enquiry to rebalance and harmonise.

Gorgeous Women’s Cacao Circle today at .wellness.studio 🙌🏼✨

Loved loved loved the energies - celebrating ourselves and how amazing we are.

Standing in our radiance and our light beaming bright and unapologetic - oh yes!

With sacred ceremonial cacao, sharing circle, kundalini kriya, chakra chord cutting, crystal bowl sound healing, tuning forks and hands on energy healing then movement, stomping, dancing oh yes and singing 🙌🏼🤩🌟

We packed so much in - laughing and yes few tears, lots of hugs, movement and expansion though too.

And the power of the circle isn’t just in what is shared, it’s in what is remembered.

When we gather in loving awareness, we realise we’re not alone in our fears, dreams, challenges or desires.

Circle invites us home to our hearts and gives us space to celebrate others and ourselves

How many times have you told yourself…

“I don’t have time to rest.”

I know I’ve said it.

But here’s what I’ve learnt the hard way…

Our bodies always keep score.

We can ignore the whispers.
Push through the tiredness.
Tell ourselves we’ll slow down next week, next month, when things calm down…

But eventually the body asks us to stop.

Sometimes through exhaustion.
Sometimes through overwhelm.
Sometimes through illness or burnout.

The truth is, rest isn’t something we earn once everything is done.

It’s something we need in order to keep showing up as the fullest version of ourselves.

So today I invite you into a moment of loving awareness…
