We’re so pleased to announce that Danielle has returned to Jazz Hairdressing after her maternity leave ✨

Danielle is an experienced, highly trained and professional hairdresser who has worked in the town for many years. Many clients will know Danielle for her fantastic hairdressing, friendly nature and bubbly personality.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome her back to the salon and know many people will be pleased to see her return.

✨ More Good News for Our High Street! ✨

Our neighbours are getting their glow-up too!

We’re delighted to see works funded by the continuing regeneration scheme have now begun on five more properties directly across from us. It’s fantastic to see the area transforming and improving — and we’re proud to be part of it.

Exciting times ahead for our little corner of the high street! 💫

✨ Salon Update ✨

Yes… it’s taken a while, but good things really do come to those who wait!

Our new shop frontage is almost complete, and our gorgeous new brand colour has finally been revealed ….. Heritage Boathouse Blue 💙 ….. and we absolutely love it! Classic, timeless, and exactly the elegant look we wanted for the new Jazz. 💫

Just when we thought we were on the final stretch, we’ve hit another small bump in the road with an unexpected roof issue that needs to be resolved before works can continue.

Unfortunately, this does mean a little more delay than we’d hoped.

We are OPEN as normal, and we kindly ask all clients to continue using our rear entrance for now.

🚧 WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL- PLEASE USE REAR ENTRANCE- PLEASE READ BELOW -SALON UPDATE:

✔ We are OPEN as normal�📅 Shop front work begins Monday 16 March(approx. 4 weeks)�🚪 Please use our REAR ENTRANCE via Back Queen Street

A map and directions are included below.
We’re pleased to let you know that work on our new shop front will recommence on Monday 16th March. The project is expected to last around four weeks, and the salon will remain OPEN AS NORMAL throughout.
During this time, the salon WILL BE FULLY OPEN however the FRONT entrance will be closed for health and safety reasons, so access to the salon will temporarily be via the REAR of the building only.

To help you find us easily, we’ve included a map in this message.

How to access the temporary entrance:
• Walk past the salon on Brown Street Northand continue past the adjoining salon.�• Turn right into the cobbled street called Back Queen Street.�• Then take the first right, passing our neighbour’s bins.�• Enter through the gate into our yard.�• You will see a handleless white steel door, this is our rear security entrance.
Please press the doorbell and a member of our team will come and let you in.

👉 If you already have an appointment booked, please arrive as normal. Everything inside the salon is running as usual.

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE STILL OPEN AND OPERATING AS NORMAL INSIDE THROUGHOUT THIS PERIOD.

✨ Exterior Refurb Update ✨

Well… as with most building projects, things haven’t gone completely to plan!

When the old cladding came off, we discovered some of the steel beams had corroded and need replacing. Not what we expected — but absolutely the right thing to fix properly.

We know the salon is looking a little sad on the outside at the moment (thank you for bearing with us 🫶), but we’re pleased to say work will recommence in the coming weeks and should take around 4 weeks to complete.

🚨 We are STILL OPEN and fully operating inside throughout. 🚨
Same team, same vibes, same great hair — just a work-in-progress exterior!

We promise it’ll be worth the wait 🤍
