Did you know , a friend or family member can lead a funeral service.

Many funerals are led by a funeral celebrant or religious minister. It can be very helpful and reassuring to have an experienced hand to steer the service - but for some, having a friend or family member of the person who has died leading the service feels more fitting.

This has been posted by Dr Kathryn Mannix. A former hospice doctor. An author of many books about death & dying and patron of End of Life Doula UK. A wonderful, informative speaker. This should be very interesting.

I know you can't all come with me to Australia next week, but you can join me there on-line on Monday 8th June.

I'll be the guest of End of life Doulas - Preparing the Way's Helen Callanan, and we'll be exploring end of life matters, how to be a well-prepared companion, the role of EoL doulas, and the insights we have gained from our work, in a live webinar conversation that you can tune in for at the time and/or watch on demand afterwards.

We would love you to join us!
