This week we welcomed Erin Perkins to our Sales Admin team (welcome Erin 👏), who will be supporting Kelly Gardner with all our client bookings and keeping the sales team in check!!

Erin is starting her career in Administration with us, taking on the support function while completing an apprenticeship.

As the third apprenticeship we've recruited in the last 12 months, it's both hugely rewarding and so important to give young people an opportunity to grow and develop!

What a wonderful week it has been for our Kirsty Çobanoğlu!! Wednesday saw Kirsty pass her 6 month probation with us, and with absolute flying colours! 👏

When Kirsty joined the team as Customer Service Representative, this position stayed the same for about a month. It very quickly evolved into Contract Manager, so this is what she now is! If you have a contract with us, you are very lucky to have Kirsty looking after you!

On top of this, she also won our Suggestion of the Quarter Award! Her suggestion was to have a solution for one-off suppliers, ensuring we meet client demand without causing more workload for the Operations team for a 'One-Off' booking.

Thank you Kirsty for the suggestion, which has now been implemented within the business, and we hope you enjoy your reward of some extra time off!

⚠️ Silica dust exposure from dry cutting engineered stone is under increased scrutiny from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), with a new inspection programme now underway across Great Britain.

In April, we saw our very own Alana Birch, Finance Manager, turn 10 years with C&C! WOW, a whole 10 years!

What a wonderful achievement, and definitely something to celebrate. Our MD Charlie Cadman and Alana giggled at some of the scenarios they've been witness to over that timeframe, and wondered how they've managed to stay sane at times!

Charlie said: "Alana, thank you so much for your hard work and dedication over the last 10 years. I hope you enjoy turning 10 again; if only we could turn 10 every year!! I thank you wholeheartedly, and hope that we can achieve another 10 together, regardless of how that looks".
