bad girl ink some FaQs

1)Firstly the question that gets asked 50 times a week is how much? This question should not even come in to play. Its not natural. Not true.

🫶[email protected]
🫶Youtube- https://youtube.com/?si=Q119pG-gDmYEDdwU This tattoo will last YOUR LIFETIME, it is the ONLY thing you will be taking to your grave, so its really irrevalent how much it costs. The question YOU should be asking YOURSELF is , can I look at this picture every da

y for the rest of my life?

2)Does it hurt?..well yes it does. Its needles going in and out of your skin, opening up a big wound that has to heal. It will not be painfree, but there are different degrees of pain for different people.

3)A tattoo or a piercing SHOULD NOT be on your skin! If your piercing rejects/swells, or your tattoo bleeds and fades, this is your body rejecting/fighting your new adornment.

4)A TATTOO IS NOT AN EXACT ART-it never has been and never will be. Until the day comes when a laser ink jet, can transfer an exact image on to your skin, you are never ever going to get an exact replica of something you may want. Skin changes over your life span, tattoos blur and fade -FACT! If you cant handle that-DO NOT GET TATTOOED!! simple.

5)Your tattoo choice is down to you..the tattooist can draw something up for you , if you dont like it , SAY-dont go back to them weeks down the line , saying your not sure about it. Remember-INK IS FOR LIFE.

6)If you want to cover a tattoo over with another one, please be aware that a)you have to be flexible with the design ,b) its GOT to be bigger and darker and c)may not cover up completely.

7)Everybodys skin is different, the exact same tattoo could be tattooed on 10 different people, and look different on every single one of them. Skin tones, skin dryness, suppleness, areas of the body and even the customers healing abilities (their health) will play a factor into how the tattoo will heal.

8)More often of late, people are coming in for their first or second tattoos as sleeves/large pieces of work. There is no problem with this, except I think there is a strange perception into how long this will take, for some strange reason some people think that a whole sleeve can be done in a very short space of time. Large tattoo work should be viewed as a commitment. Sleeves will take months if not years to finish, depending on the design and the availability of the artists time, and your own.

9)Remember that the act of the tattoo is to open your flesh up to the enviroment, where there is all sorts of nasties floating about. It is , in effect a massive open wound , and should be treated as such. Your own hands, other people touching, dirty bedsheets, clothes, animals, children, work, dust, dirt, etc etc will all have a part to play in any infections you may get, so please please treat your new tattoo with the respect it deserves.

Transformation season 🦚

The storm today had my photocopier doing its rubbish technical fault thing (apparently it has to be connected to WiFi in order to work) 🤷‍♀️ anyway I got the chance to draw the whole piece on which I love doing when I can and this old peacock feather tattoo has been transformed in to something to be proud of
