“Ne Quaesieris, Ultra” means “Do not seek beyond.”
It’s a warning about crossing limits — the pull toward forbidden knowledge, the temptation of the unknown.
It reflects Adam and Eve reaching for the apple, and also Leonardo and Michelangelo pushing the boundaries of art, science, and human understanding.

WHY THE SCALES

The scales represent judgement, balance, and consequence.
In the context of Adam and Eve, they show the thin line between choice and destiny — every action has weight.
Placed beside Renaissance geometry, they also echo da Vinci’s obsession with harmony and the perfect measure of all things.

One symbol saying:
“Every choice tilts the world.”

WHY THE EYE

The eye is awareness — the human awakening.
It’s the moment consciousness opens, the moment Adam and Eve ‘see’ after taking the apple.
Cracked like marble, it connects Michelangelo’s sculptures with the fragility of being human.
