🚨 New British Standards for AEDs in the workplace 🚨

Updated BSI guidance on First Aid now places greater emphasis on access to AEDs in workplaces with 5 or more people onsite during operating hours.

The guidance highlights that AEDs should be:
✔ Clearly visible
✔ Accessible within 2 minutes from all workplace areas
✔ Stored in a suitable cabinet or wall-mounted unit
✔ Made available to the public where possible

For many businesses, this means reviewing current first aid provision, improving AED visibility and signage, or introducing an AED for the first time.

👩‍🤝‍👩🏽 It’s International Women’s Day on 08 March, so we’d like to take the time to celebrate our founder, the woman who made our 60+ years of selling first aid supplies possible!

For those of you who don’t know our history, Safety First Aid Group was founded by Barbara Froomberg in 1959.
