A little plea for help 🤍

After several conversations with Fife Council and the Licensing team today, I’ve unfortunately discovered that they no longer permit mobile tattooing, even though their current website still states that mobile tattoo licences are available.

The Council has acknowledged that its guidance needs to be updated, but unfortunately, applying based on that information has now caused an unexpected delay in getting my fine-line tattooing services up and running.

I’m therefore looking for a suitable private room to rent within an existing tattoo, beauty or aesthetics premises, ideally around the Leven, Markinch or Glenrothes area. It must be a fully enclosed room rather than an open-plan space, and it needs to be suitable for tattooing and able to meet Fife Council’s licensing and infection control requirements.

Initially, I would be looking to rent the room approximately one to three days per month. I’m newly qualified in fineline tattooing and tiny tattoos, already fully insured, and I have my own professional equipment and supplies ready to go.

If anyone knows of a suitable room, or could tag somebody who may be able to point me in the right direction, I would be incredibly grateful.

It’s official… I passed! 🥹🖤

I’m now fully qualified in fine-line tattooing and tiny tats, and I’m so proud to finally be able to say that!

A massive thank you to Ellie EK Aesthetics for providing such an in-depth and detailed course, and for all the guidance, patience and support throughout.

A little note about lash appointments during this extreme heat ☀️

Lash adhesive is very sensitive to temperature and humidity. In spaces like my summer house or the hair salon, where hairdryers create even more heat the humidity can rise very quickly. This can cause the adhesive to cure too fast or behave unpredictably, which can affect both the application and how well your lashes last.

If I feel the conditions aren’t right, I may ask to move your appointment to a cooler time or another day. I know rescheduling can be inconvenient, but I would much rather be honest with you than go ahead knowing I may not be able to give you the quality or retention you’re paying for.

Sometimes, being a responsible lash tech means knowing when not to lash. Your lashes and the quality of my work will always come first 🤎
