I was sent this from a friend who googled Slimming World Leven and somehow ended up reading a full biography about myself including:
✔️ my weight loss
✔️ Bella the dog
✔️ my chilli recipes
✔️ the fact I run my groups on tea, coffee and chaos

But honestly? The nicest part was reading that my groups come across as warm, safe and non judgemental because that is EXACTLY what I always wanted them to be 🥹

So if you’ve been lurking on the page wondering if Slimming World is for you… I can honestly say yes, I can’t wait to meet you 👀💜

Meet Mark Wiseman, our 2026 Man of the Year for Slimming World Leven!

Mark joined our 7:30pm group just 8 weeks ago alongside his wife Susan, and what an incredible 8 weeks it has been.

He has already lost 10% of his body weight, achieved his 2.5 stone award, and tonight he proudly wore his Scotland rugby top, the very same top that wouldn’t even go over his shoulders when he first joined.

Mark shared his story with us, from playing rugby and winning trophies, to facing huge health challenges including a kidney tumour, needing a knee replacement, and being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Now he’s making positive choices for himself, becoming happier, healthier, moving more easily, and feeling the difference in his clothes and confidence.

Voted for by our members, Mark is a very worthy Man of the Year.

I am so, so proud of you Mark. What a legend. 💙🏆

Not going to lie… seeing my own little A-frame sitting at Race for Life on Sunday at Beveridge Park felt a bit surreal 🥹💕

A few years ago I would never have imagined I’d be standing beside a Slimming World board feeling proud of how far I’ve come, never mind helping other people start their own journeys too.

This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about feeling healthier, happier, more confident and learning to stop hiding yourself away.

And honestly? That’s exactly what my groups are about 💜

Whether you want to lose a few pounds, a lot of pounds, find your confidence again, or just walk into a room where nobody judges you, there’s a seat waiting for you.

This amazing woman Julie is a beautiful member in my Leven morning group, she’s kind caring an after today can call herself an athlete! Not only taking on the race for life but the 10K!!!

Next up are our dream team Sam & Craig who completed the 5K together! This beautiful couple along with Koby the social team mascot come along to my Leven evening class! I am so proud of these two too!

It has come to my attention that somewhere there’s been a wee miscommunication but I want to assure everyone none of the Leven classes are closing! Not sure where this has come from but please take it from me we are open as usual & I cannot wait to see your faces bright and early Thursday morning!

Wee note for anyone coming on Thursday evening we are in the smaller hall for one week only due to voting.
