Singing Village Women's Circle

A rare glimpse into our womens singing circle who meet twice a month at the Lewes Subud Centre.

Come along to experience a strong community of women, a chance to drop the responsibilities and feel held, join in some luscious harmony singing and help yourself to home baked cakes and unlimited tea!

And although this group look completely professional, no singing experience is required!

Fridays 7.30pm - 9.30pm

£15 standard/ £20 supporter / £10 concession

We are delighted to have received a grant from Lewes Town Council to support our Lewes Singing Mamas groups 🎉

This funding will provide free spaces in our existing groups for women who would not otherwise be able to attend. If this is you please get in touch and we'll sort you out with a free space!

If you are a local charity or organisation supporting someone who could benefit from one of these spaces please get in touch.

And everyone else, please help us spread the word!

I cannot stop singing this song by the incredible .partridge after hearing her sing and talk about it on an episode of A Breath of Song podcast. We sang it in my community singing circle last night, accompanied by a simple drum beat, and it felt like we entered an altered state! Songs like these, which soothe and help us to heal, are magical to sing in a group. I've just joined Sarina's patreon page, where she releases new songs which you can listen to (with all the parts separated out). Highly recommend! Thank you for putting these songs out into our hurting world Sarina ❤️

You heard it here first!!

New drop in option for my Singing Mamas groups in Lewes and Hove. The last Monday of the month in Lewes and the last Wednesday of the month in Hove (providing they're not school holidays - if so it will probably be the week before) will be open for drop ins.

£12 per session

Message / email to book (you're welcome to message on the day to see if there's space!)

All women welcome - with or wothout little ones!
