Beginning of summer & end of summer.

After I broke my leg I had a wake up call. I had been living in quite a lot of fear & stress. We’ve had a challenging couple of years due to this & that. My mind set & thoughts had become a spiral of uncertainty, not clarity & joy.
When I broke my leg I had time to meditate & look at my life, my thoughts my heart. ❤️ I realised I needed to change my mind set. Start dreaming & creating the life I wanted again.

It was a challenge at first but I really worked hard on my thoughts, my language & my vision.

We rented our house out to create a change of scenery to help with this process of change. It helped both physically & mentally to gain confidence. I had to navigate rough terrain both physically & mentally & still everyday I hold myself accountable to push myself in thought & action.

My leg is healing. The physical fear reducing day by day. We’ve swam, jumped off rocks, snorkelled, travelled, body boarded. Eaten so much good food. Had sooo much sun. It’s really really been life changing.

Sometimes life has so much gold in the darkest of days.

Feeling scrubbed & polished after 2 hrs of lush hamam & massage. One of my favourite things todo in Morocco. 🇲🇦
I’ve been coming here for 20 years & every time I treat myself to this beautiful ritual.
It feels like a spiritual experience to me being treated In a warm womb like space. Dead skin brushed off scrubbed, hair washed, women trending women.
This time my eldest daughter joined me which I loved 🥰

I always take note so I can add to my own rituals.

Beautiful walk to work this morning. Never again will I take walking for granted! Just 3 months ago I couldn’t even imagine waking this path!

Grateful everyday for my legs, feet & whole body. Ageing is a privilege, ageing in health & mobility even more so!

Today I was blessed to treat a 6 week postpartum mother. She’s a dear client of mine who I have known since she was a young girl. Ive treated her for a long time & during her pregnancy and today had the honour of holding space for her just 6 weeks after her birth in this tender new space of adjustment.

What a gift for me to be in a space where I too have birthed 3 babies who are now grown & need me in such different ways! But I remember exactly this feeling. Giving so much to your new baby the birth not long passed. Sleep deprived & learning on the job!

Holding the new mother from a place of wisdom love & caring. The beautiful cycle of life. Love & nurture. Blessing!!!

I even got to hold her new bubba! Little button!!
