September is just around the corner π
For many people, September is the real New Year.
The school holidays are nearly over.
The kids go back.
Normal routines return.
The evenings become free again.
And suddenly...
π "I'm going to run 5k every morning."
ποΈ "I'll get back to the gym 5 days a week."
β½ "I'll play football again."
πΎ "I'll start tennis."
π΄ "I'll get back on the bike."
The problem?
People often make the same mistake they made in January...
Too much. Too soon.
Your motivation might return overnight.
Your muscles, tendons and joints won't.
If you've had six weeks of reduced activity, your body needs time to adapt again.
Start where you are.
Build gradually.
Be consistent.
Think about where you want to be in December, not just next week.
Whether your goal is to get out of pain, get back to sport or simply feel fitter and stronger, having a plan beats relying on motivation every time.
Let's make September the start of something!
