Thirty years...

that's how long it has been since I received my nursing PIN number - Sept 8th, 1996.

I spent another 15 years after that nursing in the Royal Navy, then after a brief stint with a domiciliary care company, I started my own business in aesthetics, which has now been running for over 12.5 years. I am very proud to be a Registered Nurse, and in more recent years also an Independent Prescriber, and with Level 7 qualification in Aesthetic Injectables.

I love my job, and I have always been careful to ensure that I am as current as I can be in my skills and knowledge.

Thirty years. It feels like yesterday - would I do it all again?! I think I would do some things differently, but I'm proud to call myself a Nurse, and a Veteran.

Navel piercing anyone?!
Sally is a fully qualified, experienced and insured ear and body piercer, and we now have a fully fledged apprentice too! We do most of the common ear piercings, including helix, tragus, flat, conch, daith and rook as well as lobes, we do navels, noses, septums, eyebrows and ni***es.

All of our jewellery is high quality titanium, we provide all aftercare products and support, and will always help if there are any concerns following your piercing.

We work out of our highly clinical space in our aesthetics clinic in Wade Street in Lichfield city centre, and we are registered with the local council (which incidentally is a legal requirement for piercing)

We also appear locally as Lichfield Ear and Body Piercing so please follow us there too, as our piercing offers and model searches will often be on that page (it makes more sense to have a separate piercing page!)

Models wanted for lobe piercing - £20

We are delighted to introduce our new piercing apprentice, Charlie!

At the moment, he is piercing lobes, and we will shortly be adding needle piercing into his routine!

We are looking for a few more lobe piercing models for him for Wednesday of next week, 26th August - all piercings done by him (supervised by Sally) will be just £20 (jewellery upgrades will be charged as normal).

Don’t worry, he’s already done quite a few so it is just to get his log book nice and full - you will be in very safe hands!

So if you want a spontaneous lobe piercing, message us to get booked in!

Join me tomorrow morning at 8am on Lichfield Radio & Echo where I have the pleasure of interviewing Samantha Jones of the Menopause Cafe. She is hosting ‘Reframing Menopause: wisdom from the waves’ at our very own beautiful Lichfield cathedral at 10am, so we are very lucky to have her scooting in to talk to us beforehand!

‘Menopause Cafe, a charity started in 2017 and has grown to a network of more than 800 hosts worldwide, will be taking part in the ‘Reframing Menopause: Wisdom from the Waves' celebration at Lichfield Cathedral on Weds 12th August. Volunteer host Samantha Jones will be available from 10 am - 12 pm to come and chat about all things menopause. Menopause Cafes are events held in person, online, or in the workplace, giving everyone the chance to join the discussion groups. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or gender, and cafes are free to attend, although any donations to the charity are always gratefully received.
Following the Cathedral event, Menopause Cafe Lichfield will move to a new location in the city. The new venue is The Hub at St Mary's, with the first cafe at the new venue taking place on Sunday 23rd August from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm.
