Ever react to something… and think:

"Well that was disproportionately passionate."

Tiny comment.
Huge emotional response.

Same trigger. Different Tuesday.

Most of us have patterns we didn’t consciously sign up for.

Old beliefs. Learned coping strategies. Protective habits that made sense once… but now just leave you tired, reactive or stuck wondering why this keeps happening.

Pattern work isn’t about blaming your past.

It’s about understanding your wiring with a bit more compassion… and a bit less “for goodness sake, why am I like this?”

Awareness is useful.
But awareness and change? Much better.

Strange how we’ll wait until we’re completely frazzled before considering rest.
Like it needs to be earned.
As if there’s an official system somewhere marking:

- sufficiently stressed
- emotionally crispy
- held it together through at least 4 minor life dramas

Congratulations. You may now relax.

Except… that’s not really how bodies work.

Sometimes your body whispers.

Sometimes it sends tension headaches, rubbish sleep, jaw clenching and “why am I emotional over a missing sock?” energy.

Reset sessions (reflexology, reiki or both) aren’t a reward for surviving.

They’re support before you completely run on fumes.

A quick check-in…

Are you:
- The reliable one
- The “I’ll just do it myself” one
- The one everyone comes to
- Secretly exhausted but weirdly uncomfortable receiving help

At some point, being capable quietly turned into carrying everything.
And now resting feels unproductive, saying no feels rude, and asking for support feels… suspicious.

The annoying part and you probably know this already.

Pattern work isn’t about learning brand new information.
It’s often about understanding why your brain and nervous system keep returning to the same script… even when that script is wearing you out.
Because "being fine" shouldn’t require the stamina of an endurance athlete.
