Today, we remember Edward; a much-loved member of our Reservist workforce whose kindness, commitment and generosity touched so many lives on Ashby Ward.

From supporting patients with meals and activities to helping with essential ward tasks and providing companionship when it was needed most, he approached every role with care and compassion. His willingness to go above and beyond helped create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, relatives and colleagues.
His contribution to our NHS family will not be forgotten, and his legacy lives on in the many lives he positively impacted.

Our sincere condolences go to his loved ones at this difficult time.

💊 Inspiring the next generation of pharmacy professionals!

Our latest Aspiring Pharmacy event gave young people from across Lincolnshire the chance to step into the world of pharmacy and discover the many rewarding career paths available within the profession.

From dispensing skills and formulation to medicines reconciliation, attendees gained valuable insight into life as part of a pharmacy team.

Students also took part in a half-day acute care work experience placement, providing valuable first-hand experience in a hospital setting.

A huge thank you to all our pharmacy colleagues from Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust who helped inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

This week, we hosted our Aspiring Dietitians virtual event

Aspiring dietitians aged 15 to 20 recently took part in an interactive online careers event, discovering what it's really like to work in dietetics and exploring the many pathways into this rewarding profession.

From quizzes and case studies to hearing directly from student and qualified dietitians, attendees gained first-hand insight into careers that translate the science of food and nutrition into practical advice and support to improve people's health and wellbeing.

The feedback says it all:
