🦐 NEW FIND ALERT! 🦐

If you know me, you'll know there's one thing I absolutely LOVE... crisps! 😍

So when I spotted Proper Prawn Cocktail Lentil Chips in Asda, I just had to give them a try! And let me tell you... they did not disappoint! 🤩

The best bit? They're available in a multipack of 5, working out at around 3.5 swips per bag. Perfect for when you fancy that crunchy, prawn cocktail fix without opening a giant share bag and accidentally eating the lot... because let's be honest, once a share bag is open, it's game over! 😂🙈

These are packed with flavour, satisfy that crisp craving, and are definitely a find I'll be adding to my shopping list again.

Some of you know I've recently had to have a tooth removed, and if I'm honest, I'm still feeling pretty sorry for myself! 😔

I'm still dealing with discomfort and taking painkillers round the clock, which got me thinking...

When you're trying to stay on plan but you're struggling with pain, illness, or discomfort, what's your go-to food?

At the moment, mine is definitely soup and anything soft. It's not quite the Food Optimising week I'd planned, but sometimes we have to work with what we've got and be kind to ourselves.

We've almost made it to the weekend! 🙌

As the week starts to wind down, take a moment to think about how far you've come over the last few days. Whether you've had a fantastic week, faced a few challenges, or feel somewhere in between, remember that every positive choice counts. ❤️

Last night I stepped on the scales for the first time after my holiday... and I'd gained 4lbs.

Does it bother me? Absolutely not! 😊

I can't expect to spend a week enjoying myself, being off plan, and still lose weight – the two just don't mix! I had the most amazing time, made wonderful memories, enjoyed the food, and lived in the moment. For me, that's what holidays are all about.

Now the holiday is over, the line is drawn, and off I go again. 💪

If I'm honest, I usually find getting back on plan after a holiday quite difficult. It's very easy to slip into the "I'll start Monday" mindset, and before you know it, a week turns into two. This time, though, I'm determined not to let that happen.

The plan this week has had a slight change of direction after having a tooth removed yesterday! 🦷 So some of the meals I'd planned will need a little tweaking while everything heals. Soup is definitely on the menu for the next few days!

A gain after a holiday doesn't define us. What matters is what we choose to do next. So I'm dusting myself off, getting back to Food Optimising, and focusing on the weeks ahead.

Today was one of those days that reminds you what life’s really all about ❤️⚽

I spent the most amazing afternoon with my boy in Lincoln, surrounded by the incredible atmosphere of the Lincoln City F.C. parade celebrations. The city was absolutely buzzing and seeing the excitement, smiles and community spirit was just so special 🥹

Moments like this don’t come around every day… and when your child turns round and says, “That was a great afternoon” that’s a memory to treasure forever ❤️

And the best part? I enjoyed every second without feeling like I missed out. I planned ahead, had a later breakfast that kept me nicely satisfied through the afternoon, then came home and enjoyed my tea.

That’s what this journey is really about 💫
Not missing out.
Not saying no to life.
Not feeling guilty.

It’s about finding balance, making memories, and learning how to enjoy these precious moments whilst still moving towards your goals ❤️
