We’re finalists in the HSJ Awards 2026!

We’re delighted to announce that our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs and Community Connectors have been shortlisted for the Neighbourhood and Community Care Innovation of the Year award at the HSJ Awards 2026.

Since 2020, we have worked with partners across Lincolnshire to develop a countywide network of Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Hubs and Community Connectors. Together, they help people access support sooner, stay connected, and improve their wellbeing within their local communities.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff, partners, voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, and people with lived experience who have helped shape and deliver this work.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in making this possible. We look forward to sharing our work with the judges in October and celebrating alongside fellow finalists at the awards ceremony in November.

There's plenty of amazing courses taking place, covering topics like thriving in winter, finding employment, dealing with anxiety and finding ways to sleep better.

💙 Our courses 'Cancer - A carer's perspective' and 'Cancer - How are you feeling?' will also be returning, both of which have been designed and created with people who have lived experience.

Caring for a friend or family member? We want to hear from you!

Unpaid carers make a vital contribution to the lives of family members, friends, and neighbours across Lincolnshire. There may be more than 70,000 unpaid carers in the county.

Lincolnshire County Council recognises unpaid carers as equal partners in care and is committed to ensuring carers can access the support they need. The Council is reviewing support for unpaid carers and recommissioning future carers services. Carers First currently provides carers support in Lincolnshire, but future service arrangements are being considered as part of this process.

Whether you currently use carers' services, have used them in the past, or have never accessed support, your feedback will help us shape future support for unpaid carers in Lincolnshire.

We’re delighted to welcome David King and Sir Steve Lancashire as the newest Non‑Executive Directors joining Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

David brings extensive leadership, governance and transformation experience from healthcare, education, local government and the private sector. A qualified pharmacist and experienced board leader, he is passionate about inclusive governance and improving outcomes, drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience of health and care services.

Sir Steve is an experienced public sector leader with a distinguished career spanning local government and wider public services. Bringing extensive governance, strategic leadership and board experience, he is passionate about improving services, strengthening accountability and supporting better outcomes for communities.

Both will play an important role in providing independent challenge and supporting the Trust as we continue to deliver safe, high‑quality care for our patients, families and communities.
