We are pleased to welcome Tom, who will be visiting Cliff House Medical Practice to promote the Tech Together Programme from Age UK and provide support to patients with digital healthcare services.

Tom will be available in our waiting area from 10:00am to 1:00pm, providing free, friendly, one-to-one support to help patients make the most of digital healthcare services.

Tom can help with:
• Accessing and using the practice's online appointment system
• Booking and managing appointments online
• Setting up and using the NHS App
• Navigating NHS App features and services
• Building confidence with digital technology and healthcare tools

Whether you are new to online services or already use them and would like some additional guidance, Tom will be happy to offer personalised support tailored to your needs.

Please feel free to drop in for a chat and take advantage of this free service.

We're excited to introduce EMMA, our new AI assistant, designed to make it easier to contact the surgery while helping us deliver the best possible care.

✅ No more waiting in the phone queue – submit your request whenever it's convenient for you.
✅ Helps our clinical team understand your needs before reviewing your request.
✅ Ensures patients are directed to the right clinician or service first time.

EMMA helps our clinicians make informed decisions more quickly and accurately by collecting the right information from the start. This means we can prioritise patients based on clinical need, reduce delays, and ensure appointments are used for those who need them most.

EMMA isn't replacing our team, it's helping them spend less time on administration and more time caring for patients. That means safer, more personalised care, better use of our clinical expertise, and a smoother experience for everyone.

If you're unable to use EMMA, don't worry, our team will continue to support you in accessing the care you need.

We're excited about how EMMA will help us provide the right care, at the right time, for every patient.

We'll be introducing EMMA gradually over the course of next week to ensure a smooth transition and to give our team time to support patients as the new system is rolled out.

💙 Meet Andi — Our New Virtual Care Navigator 💙

We’re excited to introduce Andi, our new virtual care navigator, designed to help us manage patient requests and phone calls more efficiently. Andi has been developed by the same team behind Anima, the online clinical triage tool many of you already use.

What is Virtual Care Navigation?

When you call the surgery, instead of waiting in a long queue, you’ll now be able to speak to Andi. Andi will record your request and send it directly to our Clinical Triage Team, helping us get you the care and information you need more quickly.
