Due to an increasing order book, we have opportunities for experienced Floor layers to join our Residential or Commercial teams . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship across a variety of flooring projects.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for installing a wide range of flooring products in both residential homes and commercial environments. Projects vary from small domestic rooms to large‑scale commercial installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT, engineered wood, and safety flooring
* Preparing subfloors, including screeding, latexing, and ply boarding
* Measuring, cutting, and fitting flooring to a professional standard
* Ensuring a clean and tidy finish on all jobs
* Working independently or as part of a team depending on project size
* Maintaining excellent customer service and professional conduct on site
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Floor Layer (residential and/or commercial)
* Strong knowledge of installation techniques and flooring materials
* Ability to read and follow plans
* Own tools and full driving licence (preferred)
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
Desirable (Not Essential):
* CSCS card
* Experience with cap and cove flooring
* Ability to handle large commercial fit‑outs
