On Tuesday 24th June, PTS Mentors Eleanor Cope and Lee Aslin from our Grimsby base proudly supported young people at the “From Accident to Recovery” Schools Day.
Students had the opportunity to experience the journey of patient care first-hand, moving through realistic simulation rooms that demonstrated the process from accident through to recovery.

At the end of the sessions, HTG-UK took part in a careers fair-style forum, where Eleanor and Lee joined other healthcare providers to engage directly with students. They shared valuable insights into their roles, answered questions, and spoke passionately about the impact of patient transport services and the difference it makes to those we support every day.
Despite the heat, it was an excellent and rewarding day for everyone involved!

Please join us to congratulate Liam, who has been offered a role as an Patient transport assistant with
Health Transportation Group - HTG UK, after taking part in our Breaking the Mould project 💙

What makes this especially meaningful is that HTG saw Liam’s potential and created an entry-level, non-driving role to help open the door into the industry.

It’s a brilliant example of what can happen when organisations take the time to listen, think differently and create opportunities that work for young people.

We’re so proud of Liam and wish him all the luck in this exciting new chapter 🚑
