We have been asked to share the following information relating to the Tour of Britain Cycle Race on Wed Sept 2nd:

On the day of the race itself, some road closures will be in place from 6am, primarily along Newport and the Bailgate area. The Lincoln loop of the race will form the final part of the stage. Here road closures will commence from 12pm and will reopen anytime between 3pm and 4pm on conclusion of the race. This will be a full road closure. Unlike the annual Lincoln Grand Prix a rolling road closure will not be in place, there will be no access during this time. Provision will be made for any emergencies during the closure period.

Just to let you know that we have NO Citizens Advice support for the drop-in this Friday (21st Aug) due to the advisor sitting some exams. Feel free to drop in for anything general that we might be able to help with or to find out where else in the city you can get help. Otherwise, if it can wait, they will return next week!
