So now to reflect on this year,
I must be honest it brought fun, laughter and a few tears.
We’ll post this in many different parts,
Cause honestly it will melt your hearts..🥰
We’ve done such a lot we hope you enjoy it,
As we post bit by bit. 🥰🥰
We respectfully remember our friends who have passed,
Each one leaving a mark on our hearts.
Starting with the Bingo at the West Port Hotel,
Some of our residents won, they did well.
Then on the canal with the Falkirk Seagull Trust,
A trip every month was a must.
Then we couldn’t wait for the sun,
It meant out on the Trishaws when it was our turn,
One of our wish tree wishes was granted,
One resident got what he wanted,
We watched and were warmly welcomed by Bo’ness Rugby Club training session,
Eating chips and warm blanks really made an impression.
Linlithgow Museum came with their memory boxes for us to view
Perfume, housekeeping books, football, plenty of chat and sharing memories too.
A weekly visit to our bar is had,
Bingo, darts, quizzes and singing which actually wasn’t that bad.
Then the Guisers burst through the door,
We enjoyed their jokes, singing and their company even more.
Remembering Absent Friends meant a lot to us,
A time to remember without any fuss.
Fireworks lit up our Home, it was such fun,
Hot dogs, hot chocolate, laughter and chatter by the ton.
First Lynsey then Bex from Fitcare with exercises to tire us out,
With ribbon, balls, nets and dumb bells and breathing to make us shout.
Gail from Creative Mojo encouraging us with her paints, brushes and picture in mind,
Then we paint the parts and the beautiful picture is revealed we find.
We really enjoy going to Sunshine Singalong with Norma and her huge team,
A warm welcome, fantastic food, and a good singalong, honestly it has to be seen.
Our monthly Church service, a time to share,
A Bible story , a message and a prayer.
Douglas with a weekly Thought for the Day,
A chance to reflect and think about faith in a different way.
Throw back Thursday out on the bus we go,
Trips over the old Forth Road Bridge, Queensferry and many more.
Then many animals with Zoolab,
Snakes, lizzards, tortoise it’s so fab.
Everyone enjoys when Callum Brand is in,
You can see everyone smile, clap and sing,
Michael Patterson with his kilt on,
Entertaining us with Scottish song.
Dee comes to sing with bells and the odd tambourine,
We enjoy the singing and clapping along, it’s such an enjoyable sight to be seen.
Jack High, Memphis Mark and Liz,
When they entertain there’s such a bizz,
Singing, dancing and clapping as well,
Everyone having fun it’s easy to tell.
Louisa playing our requests on the piano,
We enjoy singing along... Louisa, Bravo.
We enjoy the piano playing with Andrew,
Andrew, we really do enjoy listening to you.
December came and we had fun with Elf on the shelf,
He got up to a lot of mischief all by himself!
We enjoy various table top baking biscoff, sponges, empire biscuits and marshmallows to name a few,
Obviously by the time we tasted them there was none left to share with you.
Highland with Claire Dancers entertained us with dance,
Our Christmas entertainment they really did enhance.
