Another busy Friday for the Lamont Cleaning & Support Services team, carrying out scheduled window cleaning across some of Northern Ireland’s leading hospitality venues, including the Galgorm Collection, Grand Central Hotel, The Merchant Hotel, and Hilton Belfast, alongside a number of bars and commercial premises throughout Belfast.

Sunday Shift 🔥🪟

A busy Sunday for the team at Lamont Cleaning & Support Services! 💪

One crew was out across Belfast completing window cleaning at Victoria Square, office buildings and commercial premises, ensuring everything was looking its best for the week ahead. ✨

Meanwhile, another team was in Newtownabbey, carrying out a canopy and signage clean at Marks & Spencer, helping to refresh the appearance of the store frontage. 🧼

The window and exterior cleaning industry has always changed over time, and we’ve always moved with it — from ladders, to water-fed poles, and now new technology like drones.

It’s still about people. The equipment doesn’t replace the team on the ground, or the experience and judgement they bring to every job.

We still need support teams on site for things like traffic and pedestrian management, and helping with water refills to keep everything running safely.

We’ll keep training and upskilling our own staff so they can work with new kit and keep progressing as the business grows.

A HUGE MILESTONE FOR NORTHERN IRELAND

This week Lamont Cleaning & Support Services officially launched our new partnership with Drone Clean UK — and made history in the process.

We successfully carried out specialist drone window cleaning works at the Hilton Belfast and Grand Central Station Belfast, marking the FIRST time building windows have ever been cleaned using drone technology in Northern Ireland.

This is a massive step forward, not only for our business, but for the industry as a whole. Bringing this cutting-edge technology to Northern Ireland opens up a safer, more efficient and more innovative way of working at height.

A huge thank you to Ollie and Charley from Drone Clean UK who travelled over and were absolutely exceptional throughout the project. Their professionalism, knowledge and support were second to none.

Most importantly, we want to thank our clients for putting their trust in us and allowing us to introduce this groundbreaking technology onto their sites. Being trusted to deliver something completely new at iconic locations such as the Hilton Belfast and Grand Central Station makes this achievement even more special.

Adding drone cleaning technology alongside our existing access solutions, truck-mounted elevation machines and abseiling services is another major step forward for our business and highlights our commitment to innovation within the industry.

We recently completed a full clean of the canopy at Kelly’s Cellars, removing built-up dirt, staining, and years of grime to restore it to its best.

We’re delighted to have completed our first clean at the brand-new Bedford Hotel Belfast as part of our new contract.

Our team carried out a detailed clean throughout the site, ensuring all areas were finished to a high standard and ready for guests. A great start, and we’re looking forward to maintaining these standards moving forward.

Before & After at Galgorm

This one at Galgorm was badly hit with hard water damage — the glass was covered in heavy staining that just wouldn’t come off with a standard clean. You could barely see the clarity in it anymore.

We got stuck into it using our restoration process, taking our time to properly break down the mineral buildup and bring the glass back to life.

The end result speaks for itself — crystal clear again and looking how it should. Jobs like this are always satisfying, especially when you can restore something instead of replacing it.
