It was such an honour to host the summer scheme for children with disabilities and their families this week. It was a huge success seeing everyone make the most of our one-of-a-kind facilities and create so many happy memories together. Thank you to every family who joined us.

A massive congratulations to Sensability, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Diverse Minds Events, Alderman Amanda Grehan and all other staff on a job well done!!

Did you know? The Grove Activity Centre is home to one of only two Changing Places facilities in Lisburn City.

A Changing Places bathroom provides people with complex disabilities access to safe, spacious and dignified changing facilities, helping them and their families enjoy community activities with greater confidence and independence.

Our Changing Places bathroom is available at any time, to anyone who requires it, making it easier for people to visit the Grove and the wider Lisburn area, knowing the right facilities are available.

🌞 Summer Inclusion Workshops 🌞

We're delighted to be running two Summer Inclusion Workshops this summer, designed to provide a fun, welcoming and supportive environment for everyone to enjoy! 💙💚

📅 Thursday 24th July – Craft-Themed Workshop (11am–1pm) 🎨
📅 Thursday 14th August – Freddy Fitness Workshop (1pm–3pm) 💪

✨ Both sessions are inclusive and are supervised with a variety of engaging activities.
Age - 10-16yrs
⚠️ Spaces are limited, and registration is essential.
