Wow how do I even start to say thank you to everyone that attended our BBQ yesterday. What an fantastic turnout we had, we hope you all enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did.
A few special thank yous must go to the following:
Cunninghams butchers lagan valley for donating our sausages and supplying the burgers and chicken kebabs.
Eurospar Laganvalley for donating charcoal for the BBQs
Supervalu Lisburn for donating salad, water, sauces and charcoal
The guys from Streetwise Circus for the absolutely amazing entertainment throughout the afternoon from circus skills, stilt walking and a fantastic bubble show.
Fizz Wizz Pop magic for a fun filled magic show, full of colour and energy.
Sheila for the lovely face paintings which the adults enjoyed as much as the kids
Cathy Toner, Kristy Cooper and the gang for dressing up as Mickey, Minnie, Woody, Baby Shark, FiFi, Kung fu Panda and Sky, yous made everyone smile and laugh.
Resurgam Community Fridge and 3D youth centre for helping out with tables and chairs.
Everyone that helped out with our fabulous raffle prizes, we have been totally overwhelmed by the support from families and friends helping with this. (Draw will take place soon so still time to get tickets if you want any).
Each and every single one of you that has bought tickets for the bbq, raffle tickets and dropped in donations, thank you so so much.
Now I have to say a massive thank you to our amazing woodgrove team, without all your help days like yesterday would be impossible! To everyone working yesterday, you are all stars.
Must give a special mention to Dawn and Akhil in our kitchen for all the fabulous food and Nick for everything, you 3 have been worth your weight in gold and I wouldn't be able to arrange these big events without yous. 💖💙💙💖
Our BBQ was held this year in loving memory of our much missed resident, Ruby. A big thank you must go to her family for the generous donation in her name. I hope we done Ruby proud.
I really hope i haven't left anyone out but if I have please know its not intentional and all your help is always appreciated.
Once again thank you everyone, Woodgrove BBQ 2026 was a massive success. Bring on 2027 lol.
