A little favour from me…

If you’ve joined me for Park Yoga this year, even if it’s only been once or twice… please could you take a few minutes to complete the Park Yoga evaluation survey? 🙏

I know surveys aren’t exactly exciting 😂 but these responses genuinely matter. They help show the impact our sessions are having and, importantly, help support the case for Park Yoga to continue next year.🧘‍♀️

We’ve currently had fewer than 10 responses, so every single one really does make a difference.

If Park Yoga has brought you movement, fresh air, a bit of calm, connection or simply a lovely Sunday morning, I’d be so grateful if you could share your experience. 💚

Thank you for helping me show just how valuable these sessions are!

Hello September! 🍂

How is it September already?! 😬

I’ve got a little update for you all following on from the feedback you sent me recently. Thank you SO much to everyone who took the time to share your thoughts about classes, timings, what you’d like to work on etc. I’ve been taking it all on board!

And I’m really excited about what we’re going to be doing over the next few months. 🥰

I’m bringing a little more structure + progression into our classes, so rather than every week being completely different, we’ll have a theme and something we’ll gradually work towards throughout each month.

🐦 September: Crow + foundations
🌉 October: Wheel + opening
🌙 November: Half Moon + balance
🙃 December: Pincha + flipping our perspective!

Don’t panic 😂 this absolutely does NOT mean you need to be able to do any of these poses!

It’s much more about exploring the why behind them, building strength and mobility, playing around with different variations and seeing what your own body can do.

I’ve popped all the details about how it’s going to work, including the weekly progression, into your September email, so keep an eye on your inbox!

I’m honestly SO excited for this and I hope you are too!

And a little reminder that there are just a couple of spaces left for our Autumn Equinox afternoon on Sunday 27th September at The studio in Liskeard. 🍂

summer, you were dreamy 🤍

I haven’t done a proper photo dump in forever, and scrolling back through my camera roll has made me realise just how much life has happened over the last few months.

Rome, getting tattoos for my two nans, the hard launch of our Laura & Aurora events with our beautiful June retreat, our first afternoon retreat and our very first day retreat 🥰 lots more running, cooking, slow days, sunshine, time with loved ones, lots of little moments that probably didn’t feel particularly significant at the time… but looking back, they were everything.
And of course, our highlight, bringing little Wella home 🐶❤️

And it’s funny because I’m ending the summer feeling a little bit… blah. A bit in a mental health slump, a bit flat, a bit stuck in my own head. Nothing dramatic, just one of those phases where you don’t quite feel like yourself and everything feels a little harder than it needs to.

Looking back at these photos has reminded me that feeling a bit meh right now doesn’t take away from how lovely life has been. There has been SO much good in these last few months, and I’m really grateful for it.

I think that’s something I’m learning (and probably relearning) over and over again: you don’t have to feel amazing all the time to be living a life you’re grateful for.

Sometimes you’re happy and struggling. Excited and overwhelmed. Content and a bit lost. You can have the best summer and still have a few weeks where you feel a little off.

So I’m trying not to overthink the feeling or make it mean more than it does. Just letting myself have a bit of a blah patch, looking back at all the lovely things that have happened, and trusting that I’ll feel a little more like myself again soon.

A little reminder that not every season needs to be full of highs to still be a good one. 🤍

Thank you, summer. You were a good one.🙏🏽

One of my current favourite stretches for getting deep into the glutes and hips 🤍

I’ve been playing with this one in my sequencing over the last few weeks and it’s quickly become a favourite.

It’s also such a fun shape to get creative with… you can explore different variations, transitions and ways of moving in and out of it rather than just holding the stretch.

Save this one for your next practice and have a play with it 👀
