Week commencing Monday 8th June we DO NOT have a medication delivery driver. If you are expecting a delivery during this time please arrange for it to be collected from the surgery.
Week commencing Monday 15th June we only have a driver Monday & Friday and will prioritise urgent deliveries.
Week commencing Monday 22nd June we are back to normal.

With the warmer weather, it can be tempting to spend more time outdoors enjoying the sun, but it’s important to stay safe while making the most of it.

Remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, take breaks in the shade, and look out for those who may be more vulnerable in the heat.

Staying Hydrated💧
Don't forget to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Isotonic and electrolyte drinks are also great options for hydration. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these will dehydrate you.

Cooling Down 🧊
Cool yourself down. Have cold food and drinks.

Keep in the shade ⛱
Keep out of direct heat if you can. If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter.
