Lee Clarke is an experienced osteopath and Allied Healthcare Professional who combines Footscan technology, with orthopaedic examination of the back, pelvis, hip, knee, ankle and foot, to understand how your body functions and moves.

Acute, recurrent and chronic pain complaints can be predisposed by foot/ankle motion.

Refined foot and ankle movements whilst walking are impossible to optimally assess without technology.

Footscan is the gold standard, leading pressure plate system available in the UK. It is utilised by the British Armed Forces to assess risk of lower limb injury. Footscan is a data driven system analysing foot and ankle pressure during movement via thousands of micro pressure sensors within its plate.

The data from each Footscan assessment is analysed in combination with examination of other joints, creating an understanding of how your body functions.

Following examination, we explain our findings, diagnosing any muscle & joint conditions we find. We may recommend exercise rehabilitation, shop bought insoles, or utilise the data from your scan to create a bespoke orthotic.

Footscan can also reveal a low risk of foot and ankle movement being the cause or predisposing injury, it’s common for no insole or orthotic to be recommended.

If you are concerned that your foot and ankle movements are predisposing pain and injury, or you would like a better understanding of how your body is functioning, book an appointment online today: www.theclarkeclinic.co.uk

Footscan is available in our Liskeard clinic.
Appointments are £120 and last approximately 45-60 minutes.

Restricted motion in your foot and ankle joints, can predispose and maintain injury and pain further up the leg, back and pelvis.

Our feet are an area we can take for granted. Improved foot and ankle mobility, can help offload compensation in association with an injury, preventing future problems.

There are 33 joints within the foot and ankle. Not only do they help us to move, they act as shock absorbers, supporting our body weight during ground surface contact. When I’m working on the foot and ankle, I’m helping to look after your body as a whole. Connecting the dots……..
