Did you know that every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient waiting to be seen?

When appointments are missed without being cancelled:
💙 Valuable NHS resources are wasted.
⏰ Other patients wait longer for the care they need.
👩‍⚕️ It reduces the number of appointments available at the practice.

If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. A quick phone call or cancellation means we can offer your appointment to someone else who may need it urgently.

📢 Important Update for Our Patients

We are no longer using PATCHS for online requests.

From today, please use AccuRx to contact the practice and submit any online requests. We kindly ask that you do not send any further requests through PATCHS, as it will no longer be monitored.

While you’re waiting for your appointment, why not stand up if you’re able?

✅ Improves circulation
✅ Helps reduce stiffness and muscle aches
✅ Encourages better posture
✅ Increases energy levels
✅ Supports long-term health and wellbeing

Small changes can make a big difference. Standing for even a few minutes helps break up long periods of sitting and keeps your body moving.

Do you have difficulty hearing?

We want to make it easier for you to communicate with us.

Please tell a member of staff if you:

* Are deaf or hard of hearing
* Use hearing aids
* Lip-read
* Use British Sign Language (BSL)
* Need information in a different format

We can help by:

✅ Speaking clearly and facing you

✅ Moving to a quieter area if available

✅ Providing written information when needed

✅ Writing down key information during your appointment

✅ Arranging communication support where appropriate

✅ Recording your communication needs on your patient record

If you wear hearing aids

Please let us know if you are having difficulty hearing during your appointment so we can find the best way to communicate with you.

The Met Office has issued extreme heat warnings as temperatures are expected to rise significantly across parts of the UK, with the potential for record-breaking June temperatures.
Hot weather can affect anyone, but older people, young children, pregnant women and those with long-term health conditions are particularly at risk.

To stay safe:
☀️ Keep out of the sun during the hottest part of the day (11am–3pm)
💧 Drink plenty of water and avoid becoming dehydrated
🏠 Keep your home as cool as possible by closing curtains and blinds
👒 Wear loose, light-coloured clothing and a hat when outdoors
👵 Check on older relatives, neighbours and vulnerable friends
🚑 Seek medical advice if you or someone else becomes unwell due to the heat
