🎂🎉🎈Happy Birthday Yvonne!🎂🎉🎈

Today is a very special day as we celebrate our lovely Yvonne.

Yvonne works so hard for Cancer United - If she's not shaking a bucket somewhere, then she's at an auction or street fair, or running a support group. She also spends time every week with the cancer patients on Amberley Ward. She really is the best!

So we hope you'll all join us in wishing her a HUGE Happy Birthday!!

Living life with Cancer 💜💛

Part of what Cancer United is all about is helping people to continue to live life after diagnosis.

We were so delighted this week to receive a message from one of our members Alan who said:

“Just want to say a big thank you to you and Cancer United for helping me realise that cancer treatment doesn't mean that I have to curtail my goals. Today Marilyn & I managed to climb Catbells in the Lake District which prior to joining CU I was beginning to think I would never do again.”

Well done Alan! This is what we love to hear, and what a stunning picture!

The Cancer United Christmas Fayre is BACK for 2026, and we are once again looking for crafters and stallholders to join us!

📅Saturday 5th December - 10am- 4pm
📍New Location! Angmering Community Centre!

It's always a brilliant, festive event with a great turnout and support from our members and the local community.

🏃🏃OUTRUNCANCER Angmering 2026!🏃🏃

We were thrilled the lovely volunteers from Cancer United joined us at Ayton House Care Home for an afternoon tea with delicious cakes and an opportunity to tour the home and meet staff and residents. Thank you for all you do for our local community ❤️

👟🏃What an absolutely fantastic morning at OUTRUNCANCER 2026!👟🏃

Thank you all so much to everyone who came and took part in this brilliant event. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people turn up to support us each and every time.

Another HUGE thank you to the OUTRUNCANCER planning team and every single volunteer who turns up to marshal and make the event run so smoothly.

And thank you to World's End, Patching for allowing us to use their venue as their start and finish line, and for being a huge support today and in the lead up to the event.

👟👟Walking 70 miles for cancer United 👟👟

Cancer United Trustee Gesine, along with her friend Jayne, is currently taking on the Isle of Wight Coastal Path for Cancer United.

Over four days they will be racking up a whopping 70 miles!

Here they are yesterday, looking very fresh at the finish line, where Cancer United founder Jan was there to greet them!
