It’s Men’s Health Week.

The Men's Health Forum is putting the spotlight on men and pharmacy. Your local pharmacist is a highly trained health professional and a brilliant, quick first port of call for blood pressure checks, lifestyle advice or to talk through any physical or mental health worries.

Men's Health Week 2026 will be 15-21 June and the Forum will be talking about men and pharmacy. Shortly before the week, we'll be launching a new report looking at men and pharmacy and how we can improve their relationship to improve men's health. It's Diabetes Week 2026.

Diabetes Week is an annual campaign highlighting the realities of living with diabetes, promoting early detection and advocating for better access to care.

Common signs to watch out for diabetes:

➡️ Needing to wee more than usual
➡️ Feeling tired for no reason
➡️ Blurred vision
➡️ Cuts or wounds healing slowly

This year’s theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities, making sure unpaid carers are recognised, valued and supported in every area of their lives.

An unpaid carer is anyone of any age who provides regular care and support to a friend or family member who cannot cope without their help due to illness, frailty, disability, mental health issues or addiction. You don't need to live with them or be related.

If you are an unpaid carer, tell your GP surgery.
