Six weeks ago I had brain surgery.
💭 One of the biggest worries I had wasn’t about the operation itself. It was whether I’d be able to return to the career I’ve spent years building. My tumour was close to the motor cortex, and as a sports therapist, my hands are everything.
🏆 Just before surgery, I found out I’d been named Sports Therapy & Massage Clinic of the Year 2026/2027. Under normal circumstances, it would have been one of the proudest moments of my career. Instead, it became a reminder of everything I hoped I wouldn’t lose.
🧠 Recovery is still ongoing. I’m not back yet, but every week I’m getting stronger.
⏰ This Wednesday is another important milestone as I’ll receive the results of my post-operative MRI scan and the histology of the tumour.
❤️ To every client who has checked in, sent messages, waited patiently and supported me through this, thank you. Your kindness has carried me through some difficult weeks.
🥇 I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most. Serving the people who have supported me all the way.
❤️ This award may have my name on it, but it belongs to every person who has been part of this journey.
Much love.
Thank you. ❤️
