Poppy And Her Super Stoma

Appointment at Alderney with Mr Taylor went well.

Poppy has medical anxiety since having stoma surgery, so just getting her too this appointment is a huge achievement.

She does need some further interventions but right now with her anxiety the way it is, this is not possible.

She is being referred to healthcare psychology in the hopes we can proceed with further care in the not too distant future.

Little lady was happy though as a trip to Alder hey meant a trip to the Tik Tok viral shop Nasda.
She was asked to be in a video but she refused 🤣.

We have not been very good at keeping up with social media lately but we are going to try to be more consistent.

We hope all our followers and friends are doing well 🥰

Little update from us-
Poppy is doing really well although she is still suffering from sore skin on and off.

She will soon be leaving primary school and the transition into secondary school is causing me (mum) some anxiety- although Poppy is taking it all in her stride.

I have already been into her new school and stoma trained a number of staff to ensure her transition is a smooth one.

I will post some pics over the coming days of what Poppy has been up too whilst we have been absent ❤️🥰

This weekend Poppy celebrated her 11th birthday 🥳🎉.. She had a great day shopping in the Trafford Centre!
