Hello beautiful people!
I am running my first ever 10k on May 13th (my birthday) as I would like to raise money for
are conservationists of the Amazon Rainforest. The work they do is literally helping to keep us alive, not to mention all the beautiful little creatures that live there 🐒🌿🐆
Here's the back story on why I chose to help the Amazon in particular...
As a therapist, it's important for me to continually heal & grow, and I like to try lots of different healing modalities. Last year, I had my first Ayahuasca experience 🙀
In one of the ceremonies, I saw deforestation through the eyes of a tribesman in the Amazon, and I experienced extreme pain; a pain that's hard to articulate. Anyway, that pain was the catalyst to signing up for this 10k race on my birthday!
I choose to experience a world of abundance for all, so it's important to me that I help to create that. By conserving the Amazon, we are helping to create that abundance for us, for our children, and every living being/thing that graces this planet 🌏
