This post is adapted from our podcast episode on the management of type 2 diabetes in adults. We are reviewing NICE Guideline NG28, which covers the management of Type 2 Diabetes in adults. This morning we wake up to exciting news for the community pharmacy sector. Community Pharmacy England (CPE) has announced an agreement with NHS England and the Government. The agreement is better-than-expected. It addresses outstanding issues with the 2024/25 contract. It also involves the future 2025/26 contract. This occurs while independent pharmacist members of the NPA threaten collective action. This action was scheduled to start on the 1st of April 2025....
