Lymphatic drainage is a crucial part of your recovery after any surgery to reduce swelling, scar tissue and fluid retention and speed up the healing process.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a very gentle treatment, where light stretching and pumping is used to move the fluid in a specific way, with the hands. NEVER EVER let anybody squeeze fluid out of your body through an open/reopened wound this is extremely dangerous‼️

but as birth approaches, staying relaxed and stress free is so important for our oxytocin and mindset.

So if your pregnant friend is nearing their due time, try checking in with love, not pressure.

Skip the ‘any signs?’ messages and trust they’ll update you when they can. Offer support and give them space, calm, and encouragement while they prepare to meet their little one 🤍
