WOW… WHAT AN OPEN DAY! 🥹❤️

Our Halewood Open Day was just AMAZING!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. 🥲❤️

Firstly, my incredible Aintree team turned up to help me get everything ready and to chat with all the wonderful families who came through our doors. I cannot thank you all enough. I love you all so much! ❤️ You really are the most supportive team I could ever ask for, and seeing you all there supporting our next chapter meant the absolute world to me.

Our amazing new Halewood team also came along to meet everyone, and it was so lovely seeing the two teams together and watching everyone get to know the families who will soon become part of our Remember Me family. 🥰

And to every single family who came along today… THANK YOU.

I was completely overwhelmed by how many of you turned up to see our beautiful new centre and how many signed up ready to start with us in September! 🥹

We had laughter, lots of hugs, happy tears and even full-on dance routines to Sweet Caroline! 😂💃🕺 It really was everything I could have hoped for and more.

We met some absolutely beautiful people today and I genuinely cannot wait to open those doors, get started and begin making the most special memories with you all. ❤️

Halewood is filling up extremely quickly.

Between the families who signed up today and those already on our waiting list, we may not have availability for certain days once we open.

These 3 ( Ronnie, James and Cath) have had me up the wall asking to come up and see the new centre so myself and my daughter Ellie took them on a road trip up to Halewood. We had no chairs at the time so didn’t stay long however they were very impressed with the work done so far. Cath has also asked her son if she can swap for 2 days of 5 from Aintree when we open 🤣.

📢 Halewood Recruitment Update 📢

Just a quick update regarding our current vacancies.

Interviews for our new Halewood team members will begin next week.

As I will be on holiday for 3 weeks from 19th August, all interviews need to be completed before I leave, as I won’t be returning until 13th September – just a few days before we’re due to open our doors!

If you haven’t already submitted your application form, please do so quickly and by tomorrow evening. This will allow me enough time to review applications and, if successful, invite you for an interview before I go away.

Vacancy at our Aintree centre.

Due to a team member transferring closer to home at our halewood centre this is to replace their current position.

Dementia Care Support Worker & Driver Required

Remember Me Dementia Day Care Centre – Aintree

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Dementia Care Support Worker & Driver to join our friendly team.

Working Days:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

About the Role

This is a varied role that combines both driving and hands-on care within our day centre.

Your duties will include:

* Collecting and safely transporting our members to and from the centre.
* Providing personal care and support where required.
* Assisting with activities and encouraging engagement.
* Preparing and serving meals and refreshments
( we have a chef to prepare meals this will only be required during any holidays)
* Cleaning and maintaining high standards throughout the centre.
* Stock rotation and replenishment.
* Prompting and administering medication in line with training and company policies.
* Wearing the required uniform and PPE at all times.
* Working as part of a supportive team to provide outstanding person-centred care.

Essential Requirements

* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Confident and competent driver who is comfortable carrying out our daily pick-up and drop-off runs.
* A caring, compassionate and positive attitude.
* Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English to support the safety and wellbeing of our members.
* A willingness to undertake dementia training if required.

Please do not apply if you do not hold a full UK driving licence or do not feel confident carrying out our transport runs.

Flexibility

Applicants must be flexible and able to provide holiday and sickness cover when needed. This may occasionally include Saturday working.

If you are unable to offer flexibility due to other commitments, this role is unlikely to be suitable.

Start Date

16th September (or as close to this date as possible).
